i know there is another one where they have 4 cats and are looking for a puppy and one of the breeds listed is a husky. I emailed him to tell him not a good idea. I can just see it in 6 months same guys would be trying to rehome b/c the husky keeps going after the cats lol
I know there are huskies who are fine with cats but they require training and the average owner isn't willing or equiped to put in the time and effort required to train a husky to ignore one of thier base drives.

There's a post that keeps popping up on Dayton, Ohio's craigslist trying to rehome two alaskan klee kais. Both are black and white sitting side by side. Usually it's a picture of the two of them on the porch and you can see the woman's legs behind them and there's a child sitting on the porch.

We don't think it's a scam but she's changing the price depending on who asks for them. One of the AKK breeders pretended to be really interested in them and she was quoted $1000 for both but someone else asked and was told $400 each. I hate that she doesn't even seem to care where they go, she's just trying to make as much money off of them as she can. Poor babies

This guy isn't a Craigslist pup, but he sure is handsome! If I didn't already have two Huskies I would adopt him without thinking twice about it!

It's so sad, he's not even a year old and has been to two shelters and bounced around to different families. The previous owners gave him up, because he was too playful for their other smaller dog.

Gosh, I'm half tempted to make my dad go pick him up. But he's got 5 pit bulls so I don't think that'd be a good idea. Not because I don't trust pit bulls but he does raise them to be big bad tough dogs. -_-

I'm trying to convince my boyfriend to adopt him! So far he said he had to think about it, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

We went to the shelter today and filled out an adoption application for him and they told us he was pulled from the adoption floor, because he was being aggressive this morning. They said he was being aggressive, because he didn't want to go back into his cage ... They also said he is doing extremely poor in the shelter and if we don't adopt him they are going to have to contact a rescue. We are calling them tomorrow to see if we can see him on Sunday.

This wasn't from Craigslist but had to post this anyhow from a "breeder" when I was trying to look up some history on Adobo. The best part was it was this "breeder" I found while cruising the AKC website.

I hate it when they charge a 'rehoming fee'. That's the same as selling them!

I wish people would research the breed before buying/adopting a dog. Too many end up in shelters due to stupid reasons like: "I didn't know it would grow so big" and "It sheds too much!" or "It chases and kills animals!".

A dog should be for life, not just until it becomes inconvenient.

Actually a rehoming fee isn't necessarily a bad thing. There's a fine line between finding good families and charging too much, but a small rehoming fee usually only attracts serious adopters. Here in the States we have big problems with dog fighters looking for "free to a good home" dog to use as a bait dog.

Despite the claim that she is fit as a 6 yrs old, I'd bet there is a medical reason for them trying to dump her. More then once I've seen this happen with pound dogs. The people don't even list a reason why they are getting rid of her. Yep people can be assholes.
