Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

Hello everyone, I found this forum after searching for hints and tips with regards to my new Husky and what type of cage to get for him. I will be picking up in 8 days time. He is 7 months old and I have decided to call him Hiro. My family have had dogs all my life, but my love has always been for Huskies and this will be my first time to own one, so am excited and nervous about how things are going to go so please excuse me if I start asking lots of questions from you experienced owners.

Hi Hiro and friend, welcome to the forum!! I love those dogs who have that pattern of goggles ... they just look so sinister!

Forums in general seem to be slow, there are a few of us who hang around so feel free to ask away. (( We need new blood!! ))

Thank you so much Al.
The goggles are called Devils mask and if you look closer, you will see that he is bi-eyed, both those things made me fall in love with him straight away and decide that now was the time to increase the family.

I have to ask, what is your connection with Wales, as you have the dragon in your profile photo?

With a name like Al Jones you really have to ask what my relationship with Wales is??? (( LOL )) Okay, I'll humor you, my gggggrandfather came from there .... but please don't ask me "from where?"

I was wondering about his right eye, it's obvious his left eye is blue but I couldn't tell is the other eye was just shaded or brown.

I am an expat from South Wales, so did not want to mention about the surname Jones, as if you had ever watched the film Zulu, you would know there are many Jones in Wales lol. Also the fact that your location shows Texas so was not sure if you moved there or was born there etc...

His right eye is brown, you are correct, wish me luck next Sunday lol.
