| Yes! I was lucky we were in the park and Dizzy was pretty little so he didn't have too much sledhead yet. I can only imagine how terrifying it would be if he were headed toward the street at full speed! |

and that's the one I had come off twice. I love, love, love their collars though.

that review is pretty much exactly what happened to me, but I don't use a gentle leader, i have a lupine martingale collar. I see! I'll probably tear off the whole clip then and replace it with a small locking carabiner. Yuki and Link have a definite case of sled head, if they knew they were off the leash they would be gone to California before I would know it. |

| Ha! I had a friend who had two shibas and a shepherd. When the shibas would get loose, she'd send the shepherd out to round them up. It was hilarious! |

I was the same when this happened to me, I was just screaming, crying, and when he headed towards the street I don't think I'm ever screamed so loudly in my life, its the worst feeling in the world. I still think about it until this day, and it just scares me to the verge of tears. |

| I also agree that ruff wear is the way to go. . . That said after my first experience with this I started Training Saphire to chase me. . . Now when she slips out the door or gets off leash (which doesn't happen often thankfully) I just have to keep my wits about me enough to make it a game of chase me in the direction I want her to go. It really has provided me with more piece of mind than any leash or collar I have purchased. |

I have the same problem with Siku. What I've been wanting to do lately is go by a long training rope, and just practice with him every day at a park near my house with some high valued treats. He has some recall, its just husky recall so its selective. I just would like to have the peace of mind that if anything were to ever happen that I would have a better chance of him listening outside. |

| Man I wish I had some great advice on how to help get him to chase you. It really makes so much difference with Saphire. That said, she is a momma's girl through and through and would follow me to the end of the earth. I hope you figure out something that will work for you and Lucifer so you can have some piece of mind too. Good luck.
