Forum Rules | 1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. | Nanook gets up with my husband at 4:30am, I do not get up until 6:30 and he is usually still awake. He doesn't bother anyone to make them get up, he can go in and out the doggie door so he is pretty self-sufficient ...as far as potty breaks anyway. The past week we have had a cat come and taunt the chickens at 6am and he finds that very unacceptable ... he stands inside with his head out the doggie door barking at the cat until he gets enough nerve to chase it out of the yard. Then he sits by the coop "protecting it" I guess. |

| Bourbon sleeps but my older dogs are pigs and by 8-830 they act straved one lightly whines which wakes the other who then toss and turn until I do the same then she whines and the othrr then thinks it is game on and she will paw the matteress. Then Bourbon will start tossing around and when I stand up they bark and wake him that is a weekend. Now when the alarm goes off at 620 they stir but only change floor location while I get ready. By the way they klet Rich sleep until like 10-11 if I am not home. Hummmm I need more respect or need to kearn to sleep through it like him. |

| He is probably really out there brainstorming on a way to get in the coop, he wants to keep them safe until they turn into his dinner. :-) |

| Lola gets us at 6am for potty and breakfast. Then she goes back to sleep or follows my hubby around until he leaves for work, then my turn. |

| Meeka is a 50/50 dog. I let her choose if she wants to sleep inside in her doggy bed or outside with her doggy house.
Didn't really trained her, but I say "home" and she either comes in or howls and goes to her doggy house outside around 11pm.
Obviously I don't worry about it when she is outside but when she is inside I have to waker her up which is usually around 6am for her to go potty. On weekends, I don't make her get up til 10am otherwise she be sleeping all morning.
*my backyard fence is around 8ft all around. |

| Mine are like clock work! Between 5:30am & 6:15am they're up and in my face! It's usually Kody who starts it....sometimes Mya, but little Asia will sleep until whenever. I take them out to potty and back to bed until 8am/830am when Kody wakes up AGAIN because he wants his breakfast. Boys! Haha |
