Kavik, or Kavik Bluebonnet of the South is a white/agouti male with parti-eye. He's my second husky and I brought him home on 12/22/12.

I can't say for sure how old he is in these pics, but these are from the breeder during his first weeks of life.




This is the online picture I fell in love with that made me pick him.



I brought him home at 8 weeks old after picking him up at the airport.


It became a headache when I had to constantly pull him off the fake tree. He wanted the real sticks and pine cones attached to it.

This is Lucky, the family pyrenees . At first she would snap and snarl, wanting nothing to do with Kavik, but she eventually warmed up to him and would even check on him when he cried in his crate.

I get the evil eye after a sleet storm. Probably miffed that it isn't snow.

I found a neighbor today who just got a husky puppy so Kavik has a new playmate who can keep up with his energy. His name is Comet and he's 8 weeks old. I love this picture.

AWW!!! They look like they will be double trouble down the road! The looks on their faces are way to adorable.

Cute! Looks like someone might be making a new best friend I wanna find a puppy friend for the little one now too! Kavik is too adorable.

I wish I had a friend nearby with a husky the same age as Yuki Alright Abby, when I get my next puppy you have to get one from the same litter with me. TROLOLO jk but not really. I was super excited to meet up with Yuki's brother at the dog park though That was the only husky her age she's ever met. Kavik and Comet make a good match, TONS of pictures of husky play dates is a must!

They're so cute together! We definitely need lots of puppy play date pictures.

Maya wants to replace Kay with a puppy, maybe i should

I would like to have more play dates with Kavik and Comet, but the other pup's owners are a bit standoffish. And even though they are surely potty training Comet, I have a hard time catching them outside.

Kavik seems to get along better with a wheaten puppy a couple weeks older than him. I see the owner a lot more and the two always play when they’re on potty break at the same time, derailing the original reason they're outside. Kavik will throw a fit, tugging against his leash and whining when he sees the other dog because he wants to play. I hope to get pictures of them together.

Oh! Please do get some Can't get enough of his cute little face. Too bad about the other husky's owners.

What a gorgeous puppy! His black mask reminds me of my girl and her littermates when they were young pups! His coloration is also a bit reminiscent of a Norwegian Elkhound BEAUTIFUL!

Im so shocked how similar kavil and koda looks... I gotta post some more picks of him.. Koda has the same black spot on the middle of his tail like kavil does.. Their facea are different but their bodies like almost exactly the same

I never thought of that, he does look a lot like your gorgeous Maya. I love spitz breeds. Most people ask me if he's a german shepherd mix, but he's all husky.

Many people ask me if Maya has german shepherd in her as well! My girl obviously isn't purebred husky, but I do know for a fact that she has no GSD in her lineage. Ahh, well. Some people will always think what they want to think Hehe, but Kavik is so stinking cute, I just can't stop looking at him. Would you mind PM'ing me where you got him from? I am in no place right now to start looking for another puppy, but I am just interested in finding some information on his breeder, and putting it on the back burner for potentional future pup down the road.

That's too funny that people ask you the same thing. Something about black snouts make people instantly think of GSD's

I'm so proud of Kavik today. He wen't his first whole 24hrs without having an accident inside. He went to the door and waited for me every time he needed to go.


He had an extra good day when I caught two dog owners who each have a puppy Kavik likes to play with. From left to right: Milo, Bernie, Comet, Kavik.

Comet and Kavik are just too cute together! Everyones puppies makes me want another one but I'd rather stick to my two right now xD
