Happy Birthday Kavik! He turned 10 today! He got a steak to commemorate the special day.

Tulok is also doing great. He will be 3 in a few months. He had a scare a couple months ago. He ate a kebob loaded with chicken whole...The bamboo stick from the kebob pierced his stomach and he had emergency surgery. That was a very stressful (My worst nightmare for any dog) event but he had no complications and fully recovered very quickly. I also can't take him on the same types of hikes as I used to because he turned out allergic to the lepto vaccine. I have to keep him from drive by drinking any water on trails.

Happy Birthday Kavik, looking good for an old man!! Folks tell me that dogs faces are unable to have expressions -- they lie! If any proof of that is needed just scrolling through these pictures would be proof of that!

Thank you! When I pet Kavik while he's laying down the corners of his lips curl up in a smile. Dogs faces have lots of expressions.

Happy late birthday, Kavik! Glad things with the kabob stick went okay. I would have been a wreck.
