Forum Rules | 1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule. |

| I know I am not on here very often but I do pop in now and again to creep. I do some transports for a Husky Rescue and have done a few for my local Humane society. They have a Husky that is pretty aged and has some hip troubles. I went and looked at him last night and it just tore me up. I dont know that he has ever had proper care. He seems to have a lot of life in him and real sweet. I really think he would do much better if he could have a warm soft bed and some cheap meds for hip displacia. Will someone consider given this fella some joy in the few years he has left????
PM me for more info.
He is in WV.

| Oh, I would love to take him in...but unfortunately I already have one husky with a lot of hip problems. Can't afford another. How old is he and can I have more info? I can share on my facebook wall and on my other husky forums. |

| Owner surrender? I know I shouldn't judge but if it is, this really ticks me off. The poor guy. If my two weren't so active, I would take him in a heartbeat! Willow just doesn't know to back off. She hurt Dakota once, in play, with his bad hip and it about killed me to see him crying in pain. I hope he can find a home soon! |

| No he's not an owner surrender. He was picked up on a country road. |

| This is so sad I wish I could help them all.. I saw this one at Sapulpa Animal Shelter He's at least 10 years young. His human, who loved him very much, passed away unexpectedly.

I wanted t go get him but I don't think he would fit in with my two. they are very young and play rough. |

| Awww..so sad! I hope someone can foster him at least - some glucosamine and the hips can get a bit better, our rescue has taken a few elderly dogs and had fosters give them a few good months or years. Fingers crossed! What a pretty dog! |

One of the local vets told me she would give me some meds for him. I'll pick em up today and take them to the HS. |
