Is a almost 5 month old puppy supposed to get tired on short walks?? Like she walks a little and sits down? I dont know if its normal?

Puppies at that age shouldn't be going on very long walks, especially on hard surfaces as they're bones are still growing. I can't remember what the the rule is, 5 minutes per month of age or something like that. Is it possible that she has a hurt foot? Maybe the surface she's walking on is painful on her tender pads? Is she otherwise healthy? If you're still concerned, a call to the vet is always free.

Hopefully someone else who might have experience with this can help out. My two only get tired on walks after about 2 miles...

Yes as funny as it sounds i took her to the vet so many times and they always say shes healthy... But just dont know why she grts tired from short walks .. Thanks anyways

What's the weather like where you live? Sometimes heat can poop out our pups lol

It's florida lol .. But right now its staring to get cool.. I only walk early in the morning 6ish and around midnight... At first i thought it could be the heat.. But now idk .. She always made a clicking sound when breathing .. I posted that before too and the vet sai keep an eye on it..
