If Appa did that I'd think something was seriously wrong. A walk that long and he's OUT. In fact, we just finished up a 20 minuter and he's out already... The more I hear about and see other huskies I think "he's definitely a malamute."

Kody and Sabaka really are separated at birth!!!
....only at my house we have no Mya so he pesters us! Some evenings I just want to hide under a chair like Mya! (Not to talk to quickly, but it's almost 9:00pm and he's actually chillin' a little.) Bob's still not home, so my guess is when Daddy gets home the crazies will start up again. We walked our last mile of the day about an hour ago, took only about 20 minutes. Yeah, we're doomed....

Both Rogue and Koda are pooped out after a short walk around the block, lol! Koda got so much exercise the first two years of his life to where he is content with being lazy now(though when he was Kody's age I'm sure he would have bugged us if I didn't rug a few miles with him daily or take him to daycare 2-5x a week [he went 5 days a week when we were in the apartment 09-10).. and Rogue just follows his example (if Koda is napping, it's time for Rogue to nap too is what she says!). But they often do like to wrestle for about 5 minutes after we get in, but when we get in is usually right when Jarod gets home for breakfast/off work and they always like to wrestle on him when he comes home.
Rogue paws Koda's face like Kody does to Mya, we think it's the cutest thing!

Kristina, I swear, he's just so retarded sometimes. Like he doesn't get that she's actually TIRED from the long walk! Until she bites him and then he's like "oh oh...ok"
Riley, Kody used to get tired after a 20min walk, but that's nothing to him now
Lisa, he does it to me too! Trust me! He actually just got put in time out AGAIN because after he was done with Mya he started with me! Mind you, after I stopped recording she played with him for like another 15min. It's so funny though. After just a few days of telling him " you wanna go to timeout?" he runs away from me like "ohhh nooo!" LOL!

I thought Frankie would have been exhausted after his hour of adventuring through the neighborhood.....but nooooooo. The zoomies went on and then he went to the flash mob practice with me and was still trying to play with the other doggies. He is finally pooped after a 2 hour training session., but didn't settle down until we got in the car. Maybe Kody and Frankie can wear each other out.

Have you tried jogging or biking with Kody? He is bored, he neds either alot of work for his brain or more exercise.

Yep, I do both with them. I recently started jogging with them in the mornings and then either going on a bike ride in the evenings or just a long walk. He bugs Mya like that for a bit until she gets up to play and then he's passed out for the rest of the night..lol

45 minute walk? Are you kidding?! That's just a slight warm up!
Reminds me of this post I made last week...

Walked a new trail this morning with my sibe for an hour and 10 mins. Then he got to run and play with the neighbors pit bull afterward. Then brought him home and he did zoomies in the backyard for another 15 mins or so and spent another 5-10 min digging in his sandbox. Then he went bonkers chasing bees in the yard. He still had tons of energy to burn after all that when I finally dragged his butt into the house so I could have breakfast. Biking with him doesn't tire him out either...I'm convinced that this dog is impossible to wear out.

Although I think Kody needs more entertainment, keep in mind that they get used to what you offer them constantly, if you give them three hours on one walk, and repeat this for weeks, they will demand that amount eventually

Zoey does this too, she never stops! she can seriously only lay down for maybe 5 minutes before she's going again, i don't know how she does it! we just got back from the dog park after being there for an hour and she just keeps smacking embry in the face while he sleeps next to the side door..

Yeah, I try not to do the same thing everyday so that they don't get used to it, but besides going to the doggie park every once in a while that's all he's getting. Unfortunately, I don't have time to do more than I already do. My life at home revolves around them as it is and I try REALLY hard to at least get them their daily run and/or walk even if it's raining. I play with him in the house too (when Mya isn't in the mood) and he gets to run in the yard as much as he wants with me sitting out there...Spoiled brat...lol

He will get used to it. A few more months and he will calm down you will see. It is important too that he doesn´t get attention whenever he wants it, if there are times during the day where you ignore him he will learn to rest at certain times a bit faster.
