| We just got home from our drive that started at 8pm. (Its 9am here now) all are safe. The drive took longer because of breaks and other adventures. I have been traveling since 7am yesterday. I am going to go to bed I will upload more pictures when I wake up but I thought I should share one. Fingers crossed he lets me sleep. |

| Aw, you finally got him! And he's so adorable!
I'm considering getting a red pup myself in late April/early May ... the breeder we got Layla from is having a litter due Feb. 24. Mom's red and dad is gray but his mom is red and there is red elsewhere in his pedigree, so it's likely there'll be red or copper pups. I haven't made up my mind yet, as I haven't decided if we want to introduce a new puppy when Layla is eight months old, but I'll have to decide within the next month and a half or so ...
Congrats and good luck! Can't wait for more pics! |

| So what color would you say his eyes are? The breeder called them green and they look green to me. Yep he is a Husky! Getting used to that collar is rough. Car rides=nap time

| Looks green or hazel. Never seen a husky with that eye color! They could turn to amber eventually. |

| BTW, how are things going with potty training and otherwise? How's he doing at night? A few weeks ago we JUST stopped taking turns getting up in the middle of the night to let Layla out. Now she can stay in her crate and be content from around midnight right up until 8 or so. |

| He is pretty great yesterday we had no accidents in the house. He can sleep through the night most of the time. He woke up and cried for twenty minuets last night but went back to sleep and didn't have an accident. He screams if he is left alone so that's a thing. socialization is going well he had meet and had a positive interaction with over 70 people. Honestly I keep waiting for the crazy husky puppy everyone talks about to show up. Right now he is pretty easy. |

| Layla has been pretty easy so far, too. She picks up things so quickly and at four months was fully potty trained. I think the real "crazy husky" usually shows up around eight months at the "teenage" phase, especially if they're under-exercised. Young puppies don't need nearly as much exercise and sleep a lot, so they don't cause as much trouble, but when they are active, they sure are active! Layla had trouble being alone the first couple months, too, but nowadays she's usually pretty good. You just have to build trust and prove to them you will always come back. It was rough going, but now she will go in her crate on command and stay quiet through the night and during the day if we have to put her in. She's never tried to escape, either. She backtracked a little bit when we went on a trip, since she was in a foreign place, but after one night of about 20 minutes of crying, she was fine. Don't worry. Sounds like little Simon's doing great so far, and the crying WILL get better! It may take a couple months, but it will get better. |

| Omg he's the cutest little ball of teddy bear fluff I have ever seen. With the potty training I taught Samoa to ring a bell and she has finally gotten it one hundred percent no accidents anymore although if you choose to go that route watch out. They'll learn that ringing the bell is a game sometimes and ring ring ring just to go out lol I treat her everytime she goes out and actually potties. But if not we come back in and no treat. So hopefully she'll learn that ringing the bell is for potty use only lol |

| I do the same thing. We didn't start off with the bell method and found not using a bell actually led to more accidents because we couldn't tell if she wanted out or not. The bell makes it very clear! And, yes, only treat when they potty and they won't ring the bell just to go outside as much. We even brought the bell with us when we stayed with family over the holidays, and once you show them once or twice where the door is to go out and put the bell next to it, they will know that's the door to use and they will still know to ring the bell. |

| OMG he's the most adorable thing I've ever seen. I second that I'm glad you live far away from New England or I would also have to come steal little Simon. Sadie's adorable too! She looks like she makes a great big "sister." Love the new avatar, by the way! |
