So your one year and a day into the future of owning a husky. Has it gotten easier? He recently tried to eat a couch, a big couch, by himself. Also the only time he is super cuddly is when he is covered with mud. I always feel torn. And I feel like a lot of the time the option with huskies is to laugh at them or cry at the chaos. I like to pick laughing.

I wish the Buddha garden was mine! I will have one one day. No that's the friend who let me borrow the harness.  But thank you I think it is lovely too and a nice puppy back drop.

Ha ha! He is so handsome now! I love the torn up pillow shot. The girls look sad, and Simon says, "That was fun! What's next? Oh hi mom!"

Easier to an extent, she no longer has a fetish for destroying our things, just hers. She has been an angel today, since messing up my leg, couldn't play with her or walk her, she just been cuddly with me, and sticking to me like glue. After she was done with the mouthing stage, she has been a total lap dog. I guess I got lucky.

Elise - looks like a fun time. I love camping (when it's not raining ) I wish I could have seen Sadie's expression after falling in the river - Ami only likes water up to his elbows, so I can imagine

Elise, What is Simon looking at that is so boring to Sadie, lol. Great pics. This may sound stupid, but is Simon considered a red? sometimes he looks red other times not, the ever changing husky for sure, but was curious, his nose looks pink in some pics and some not. What do you list him as? I'm always wanting to learn more about the breed. So thank you for putting up with my dumb questions.....

Hey feel free to ask questions anytime yes Simon is a red and he has dark liver points. meaning the skin on his nose and around his eyes is a reddish color. no he's definitely one of those dogs that what color he appears is really dependent on the light. Between being a darker red and white showing through it can look really different lighting situation were in. if you look at the ones where he's in direct sunlight those are the best for color.

Thanks everyone! I can't believe he is already one.

These were all taken this morning after we woke up and went outside and had breakfast. I decided I wanted to read a book and they both just took a nap. It was so cute I popped out my camera. This is with no walk or anything to drain there energy. Jealous anyone? Also I then came downstairs and wrote a blog post and uploaded pictures and all they did was switch rooms with me. That is some pretty easy going behavior for a 1 year old husky.

Nice pics of the one year old, Elise. Love the snuggle with Sadie pic. sometimes they do the strangest things, like napping, lol.
