| They follow up is on tuesday at the same office, but my boyfriend wants to get a follow up/second opinnion from another office due to how the visit went with this one. I guess it was relitively cheep. ($191 for a emergancy walk in + putting her under + xrays+meds+pain meds in shot form when we came in) but imo the place was verry unprofessional they gave me little to no info on anything even the meds, and i was in panic mode so i thought OH ITS NOTHING "SERIOUS" K GOOD LETS GO HOME.. so i guess im at fault for not asking questions. But the vet hardly let me talk...
Anyways we are going to wait til tuesday. If she isnt highly improved (and we doubt she will Be) then we're going to sign out her xrays and see another vet, according to another office that we called by the sounds of it they should have sent her home with these meds she may need surgery depending how bad the tears actually are, if this turns out to be a large operation we are going to get her fixed at the same time
Also does anybody know if even with a surgery fix if her hip/leg will ever bee 100%? Or will she constantly have pain? |

| ... $191 for xrays and anesthesia + more? That is ridiculously cheap, and usually ER vets are pricier than regular vets too. |

| That is VERY cheap. It's 100$ to walk into the emergency vet here. |

But a lady from the humane society up her contacted me and sent me elsewhere for MUCH cheeper services. |

| That's really cheap. Our E-Vet charges $100 for a walk in. When Embry got X-rays last summer of his kidneys it was $100 for each photo.. |

| Going under from a good-practicing vet with fair prices is 100ish+ as well. That price is seriously ridiculously, ridiculously cheap. ER vets wouldn't scare me if they always charged that lol. |

| Small update; we gave trillion her 12 am meds and she fell asleep myboyfriend and i decided to walk two blocks down to get a soda since she was out. We came back to see she somehow got to the door but couldnt walk enought to step out (its a sliding glass door) and she fell im assuming on her bad leg. She was whimpering when we came back we tried to see if she can get up by calling her since she got herself on her leg we didnt want to just move her, and she started that scream she does when shes really hurting and so then she stopped trying and she was still screaming. I then gave the okay to my boyfriend to quickly lift her by her upper body because she couldnt move and was screaming he grabed her and lifted her onto her legss she was still screaming and her legs gave out and so then he held her head to his right shoulder and lifted her by her upper body under her upper legs. And laid her on the bed on her good side, she stopped screaming and just heavy breathed and wimperd. She now sleeping. But its too much there is NO WAY she should be in THIS much pain when she had taken her meds an hour ago they should be in affectt. We are going to the vets at 6am tomarrow to pick up her xrays and taking them to the second vet and getting her seen. This is too much to bare i feel so bad because i cant do anything to ease her pain . |

| Yeah we're going to keep her off her feet. To be honest im shocked out of this whole ordeal she hasnt tried to bite at all, not that she's a biter just you know shes in pain im just kinda exspecting a snap or something, but if anything she just wants to lay in your lap and be petted. Poor baby. Whats sad is seing her trying to squat and pee, when she does she still somehow manages to stay on her other three legs. |

| Might have been great prices for the ER Vet but the care doesn't seem to be all that great. Take Trillion in for a 2nd opinion. |

| Honestly by all the pain she's in now, like you're saying. I don't understand why you wouldn't take her to a different vet Monday morning..... |

| I would not leave her alone if possible and definately don't encourage her to walk at this point even if she tries. I would carry her in and out to the bathroom and bring her food and water her, having her try to walk could be making it a lot worse and setting back any kind of healing. Maybe put some kind of harness on her if you are alone to help manouver her in and out for potty breaks and definately get her looked at ASAP. |

I almost feel like the price has to factor into the quality of care... I mean, really, the prices are crazy for normal vets. I agree on a second opinion. Call your normal vet/look at reviews for a good vet and take her in ASAP. |

Also said the xrays don't show ANYTHING about ligiments just bones. And her legs is twisted in the socket.
