| This is Karma. She was on Death Row at Animal Control before P.A.A.C. (people assisting animal control) asked me to foster her. Since I couldn't bear the thought of a husky going down, just because adoption was full, I agreed. I am very glad I did. She is looked for a great home! They will only allow her to go to a home with experience with the breed, or willing to do research, which I was very happy about. She does have the flu but we are getting her taken care of. Today she is getting groomed by a friend of mine, who has a shop, since she had feces matted in her undercoat. She is skin and bones, but the sweetest girl I've ever met! She has attached herself to Kizmit (our dane rescue) and follows Kiz around like she is momma dog. (All 3 of our fosters have done this, it must be something about her ) I literally brushed 3 trashbags full of blown coat off of her. It makes me sad that they can't even bother to brush out the dogs. She is matted, covered in feces, and has ticks hanging all over her. Thankfully my friend can get her cleaned up without shaving anything off of her. I was really worried I would have to have that done because of the mats! Here are a few pics of her. I will get more up after she is cleaned up.

| I'm sure she will find the perfect home. They are very selective with their screening! && if I feel any reservations about the people, when I meet them, I don't have to allow the adoption either. Which I love.
She seems to be under a year old. She is definitely young. She was never in a house before, and crawls across the tile and wood floor, most of the time. lol. |

| Tiff, you are a wonderful person. Great rescue, and good luck finding her the best home possible. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. Esmer wants to kill me everytime I bring one home, but in the end, it's always worth it.
She was on the shit list this morning though (esmer) because she asked if we could rehome Rio and Keep Karma. -.- !!!!!!!!! |

Haha, I would, but I already have 5 dogs. I don't think I could comfortably afford another Husky. I'd be worried I couldn't afford emergency vet bills, TBH. I have to think about what's best for her. I would LOVE to keep her, but it's not in the card, atm. |

| Well, last night, Karma took a turn for the worse, as most of you know. It turns out she had the canine influenza, pneumonia, AND distemper. She was vaccinated for distemper, but the vaccine came too late. She was put to sleep at 5:17 pm, today. She was only with my pack for 4 days, but I feel like she was one of us. I will miss her. </3 |

| I'm so sorry! I know what it feels like to lose a foster. At least she got to spend her last few days out of the shelter. _________________ -Sara |
