Hello everyone, So I've been reading a lot of info on this forum - just from google searches and such and finally decided to register. I'm a proud owner of my lil rescue girl - she's approx 1 1/2 years old, someone found her on the streets and took her in, they posted an ad on the internet and my husband came across it, that's how she became my engagement present! A very special kind of present indeed. I've always been a dog lover, but I never had a husky, so I'm learning here. Which is why I find this forum so helpful, I'll definitely have some questions for you guys! My baby girl's name is Karma and well she's really quiet a charming dog... She can drive anyone crazy with staring competitions and putting her paws on you, no matter how many times u say "no!". Very stubborn! But hey, I heard it's a husky thing. Now i'm not sure if she's a 100% straight husky, I'd like your input here ( i know its hard to tell just from a picture), but I can't afford a test right now. I have a feeling she might have some german sheppard in her. She's slightly smaller (not quiet as chubby as you would expect a husky to be) though she's been filling in, maybe it's cause she's still young. I know brown eyes don't mean anything, but u take a look at my pretty lil girl!

Welcome to the forum I definitely see the husky in her (obviously) but I can't place what else she might be. Hopefully someone else will have some input. Gorgeous girl, good for you adopting her <3

I cant put my finger on it either. Oh well, I guess we'll just have to wait for the test. And thanks!

Welcome. I'd definitely say she's not full Husky because of her face, but I'd say mostly Husky. Maybe Shepherd, who knows. I heard those tests aren't very accurate. Also Huskies aren't supposed to be chubby Females should weigh 35-50 lbs
