Blaze is waking me and my bf up around 5:45 am EVERY morning with his yipping. He won't stop until we feed him and spend about 5-10 minutes outside in the cold with him. How can we stop this? Our landlord said that if she gets a noise complaint either we have to get rid of him or we have to leave. I've tried everything. He doesn't want to be inside at night, but he won't stop this annoying barking/yipping early in the morning. Do you guys have any ideas?

So he is outside at night time?
For some reason he is on a 5:45 am schedule. If he is in the house acting like that try a squirt bottle of water. Or I seen someone post dump a bowl/cup of water on him to see if that quiets him down.
What happen with his cage does he like sleeping in it at night?

Because of my friend's training, Blaze only wants to be outside. We have tried crating him at night and he fusses like he does in the morning. What I don't understand is "supposedly" he only barks when he wants food, water, or attention and he was on a 7-8 am (est) schedule in Florida. I don't know what's happening to him. Could this be the revenge from the dewormer?

Some how his sleep cycle got messed up. What we do ... Wake up. I gave up on altering his sleep cycle. 6-6:30am is when we wake up now. I actually really like it once I get moving.

I thought it may have been the school bus going down the road at that time of the morning, but he proved me wrong by waking up at 4am this morning.

No, deb, the crate won't fit in our room..it barely fits in the living room. Anyway, he did it again this morning around 1:15 and wouldn't stop until 3:30. My bf got mad and he inadvertently woke me up when he decided to get dressed. It led to a small argument in which I told him to leave Blaze alone and if he heard him again, to get me up and I would deal with him.

When I got up around 8:20, he had done it again. I went to the back door (he had been put back outside by my bf) and he kept doing it, even though I hadn't opened the door. I went down and popped him on the nose and told him no and he kept doing it. After I got him eating one of his rawhide chewbones, I went back inside and partially filled up a large mixing bowl with water. I carried it back outside and sat it on the chair and told him that would be on him if he didn't stop. I went back in the house and he did it again. So, I went outside and grabbed the bowl and he tried to run, but I dumped it on his butt.

He is now sulking in his dogloo. I haven't heard a peep in almost 30 minutes.

Sometimes he is prancing around at the end of his line or just sitting. No one is around until after he does it and Comet stays inside.

In the morning and late evening, if he is outside. He started the mess this morning inside his crate and Comet was sleeping nearby. John came out and laid down on the sofa in an effort to get him to stop, but he wouldn't, thus landing him outside.

Does he do it every morning? If not, try giving him a treat on the mornings that he's fine, and withhold it on mornings that he starts yipping it up. Otherwise, all I can think of is: adapt your sleep to him (as was mentioned above) or go the crueler (but sometimes necessary) route of, I don't know, maybe a shock collar?
