So, we've had our Husky puppy Ghost for a week now, and we are having some issues with my fiance's dog. She's a 4 year old Cocker Spaniel, and while she generally doesn't mind Ghost, she kind of flips out when Ghost tries to play with her. We know now from reading posts that Huskies like to play rough, and it's pretty obvious that it is just play. Lulu (the Cocker), however, growls, bears her teeth, snarls, and barks, and occasionally bites at Ghost when Ghost tries to play. We aren't quite sure how to handle this, and we are a bit concerned that they will hurt each other because Ghost really isn't getting the hint that Lulu doesn't want to play. Have any of you had similar issues, and if so how did you handle them?
On a side note, Ghost is starting to catch on to "leave it" with my cats, but totally ignores it when she wants to play with Lulu.
