| I've been browsing the forums and didn't see this topic anywhere (Hopefully I didn't over look it) so I figured I'd start it off. What is it about your husky(ies) that push your buttons and makes you want to rip your hair out sometimes? Mine would have to be at 5:00 am when I get up to take Max out, he likes to play a game of tuck head and fall flat when I try to put the harness around his head. He will walk up to it like always but at the last second tucks his head down and slides flat to the floor. Then he has to roll over and give me the innocent look... . I want to get so mad sometimes but it's hard to with 2 big ol' blue eyes looking up at you. Share yours! |

| if our huskies did not push our buttons i would think something is wrong with them!!! mine run for the hills in the house if i bring out the backpacks for weight training but if we are at a trail they can't wait to get it on. this one gets me the most there are so many things i can't list them all, you know they know what they are doing to and you just can't be mad, either they are just to cute or they did something because I failed at putting something away or closing a door and they just had to show me i forgot. like sierra knowing where the dogs bones are in the laundry room and if the door is left open she helps herself now, i have come down the steps to jack looking at me going MOMMMMMM look what she is doing all innocent and stuff! and i know he helped him self to. i just love them to death! _________________ |

| Without a doubt...stuffing his balls and toys under the sofa and then lying on his side and "digging" and "scratching" while acting like he's trying to get the toys out. He KNOWS he can't get them out... why did he put them there in the first place...?? Uggghhhh! I think he does this when he's bored to get our attention. Crazy, annoying dog! |

| When Bodhi gets the "zoomies" inside the house.
Usually it's when we come home from a run, but sometimes he just gets a wild hair and starts tearing from one end of the house to the other. We have hardwood floors. He scrabbles for traction and jumps onto rugs.
Lately we've telling him "crate" when he gets out of control. Then sometimes he zooms in his crate and the whole crate rocks. it's quite comical. |

| What aggravates me most is when Dakota decides he wants to do zoomies during a walk when I've got all 3 dogs with me. A husky doing zoomies on the lead, two other dogs on the lead desperately pulling to get away from said crazy husky and me by myself with only two hands trying to maintain some control = BAD! _________________ |

| I think "zoomies" are hilarious... (She types as her crazy dog is frantically trying to retrieve his squeaky ball from under the sofa.)
I love the butt tucked and ears back look of a husky in perfect "zoomie" form!! Granted, they probably are less hilarious while on a walk or in a small house, but I do love to see a good "zoomie" around...and around... and around in a fenced yard. |

| Zoomies without a doubt, not because of the running, but the jumping that accompanies it. Appa thinks he can use us as a springboard when he's in zoomie mode. It's usually while on a walk. He tried getting them in the house once and there's just not the room for it so he shut down. Hasn't happened in-doors since. |

| Jack is good at the zoomies, in the house before heading out for a walk, around the coffee table up on the sofa off the sofa into the kitchen and back again, ears tucked and all its funny and in the back he does it under the deck to over the deck around the dirt again and again and again! i don't think i have ever seen sierra do it, she just gets jumpy. _________________ |

| Oh I thought of another thing that Dakota does that is so annoying. When we're out on a walk and he wants to play/jump on me/do zoomies and I ignore him to continue walking he starts biting my leg as if to stop me from walking. Anything I do at that point only gets him more riled up so I end up just having to stand there forever until he calms down. He only does the leg biting thing on walks. _________________ |

| I made the mistake of buying treats that Dakota has decided is better than life itself. He will constantly stare at me and if I don't get up he will then start pawing me. When I do get up, he races to the breezeway and looks at me, then looks at the treat box, then looks at me, then looks at the treat box. If I tell him no he talks back, which was so rare until I bought these darn treats! FYI, Willow is doing the zoomies as I type this up and Dakota is sitting down in front of me staring at me. Sigh. |

| ok, WHERE TO START? LOL!! There are so many things that it's hard to pick so I'm going with the top 3 for both! Mya 1) Fact that she refuses to let me sit on the couch EVER. She could be laying under the table chilling and the second I sit down she's up and begging for SOMETHING...what? I DON'T KNOW!!! She just doesn't like me sitting down! 2) She won't come in the house from the yard when called. Like ever...have to bribe her with treats and still that doesn't work sometimes! 3) She will lay in the bed (on hubby's side) and growl at him when he wants to lay down. She gets very mean! Kody 1) WAKING UP AT 545 EVERYDAYYYYYYYY! I take them out, feed them, and try to go back to bed. He cries, barks, howls, NONSTOP until I just get up! 2) He eats EVERYTHING on his walks!! I can't let him enjoy smelling anywhere because that turns into him eating stuff! 3) When Mya finally decides to lay down and let me relax he's up and WOOOOing all up in her face which causes her to get up AGAIN!

| Correction! I hate how much Appa loves and can find Bubblegum. He will go from 6 feet to my left side to pulling on my right for a piece of bubblegum. He finds it EVERYWHERE. Just today he dug up a piece of bubblegum from a flower bed before I could stop him on our walk. |

| Aevyn doesn't really aggravate me all that much. Although he does have a tendency to play with his lobster at very inappropriate times.
...Oh wait, yes. At the dog park. He seems to sense when we are leaving and will go straight for the mud puddle and roll around so he gets to stay 30 minutes more as he dries off. He knows its coming, and he does it -every- time without fail.
And btw, I love that the "zoomies" is a apparently a very technical term. And that you could say this to anyone who owns a husky and they would know immediately. |

| I get aggravated when the little boogers decide they don't want to eat and make me worry something is wrong!
AND
When we're out at the park and he refuses to jump in the truck to leave and makes me pick him up and put him in.
AND
When I want him to come in the house and he doesn't want to and he runs away and makes me chase him and when I do catch him he does the husky splat and won't get up!
AND
When he backs out of his collar when I try to grab it.
AND
when he bites me in the butt! |

| Not aggravating - I actually enjoy the zoomies since they just do laps in and out the back door and do laps between the backyard and the living room. Storm is now starting to do zoomies I think he's trying to keep up with Ginger, or Ginger is trying to teach him zoomies, but he can only do about 2 or 3 laps until he falls flat on the floor on his side panting. It's a good thing zoomies seem to happy more in the fall/winter/spring... Ginger is good alone when approaching/meeting other dogs, but Storm will pull depending on the dog he wants to meet. Then that means Ginger has to follow. And that's hard to control. .....and I HATE when they see squirrels on our walks! _________________ |

| i have to add another, it aggravates me that Jack causes me bodily harm with his hard head! i have had 2 bloody noses and last night he was on the sofa and i was hooking up sierra leash and again he hopped off the sofa and hit me dead in the side of my head with his head! ugh this boy is gonna land me in a hospital one of these days. i no longer hook his leash while he is laying down as his jumping up has gotten me a few times he now has to sit and not move! _________________ |

| Braiden - 1] Pulling us over on hikes trying to get to strange dogs 2] Acting like all dog toys in the house belong to him. He will calmly walk over and take the other dogs' toys and bring them to his spot and lay on them. In the yard he will stand on two Frisbees with his front paws in a sitting position with a Jumbo tennis ball tucked up under his "Doghood". Ridiculous yet funny at the same time. 3] Lets me brush/comb his whole his body except his "pants" Growls when I get near those. So annoying to have messy looking pants, when the rest of him looks all brushed and shiny.
Skyla -1] Has yet to sleep through a whole night since she was eight weeks old and she is nine months. Wakes every two hours to potty. Can't ignore her because she "talks" and gets louder and more high pitched if I ignore her. I am retired but Hubby still works so I have to get up and take her out so she won't wake him up. I am freaking sleep deprived all the time!! 2} Swims in her Kiddy pool and get soaking wet, then goes and digs a huge hole and gets covered in dirt from head to toe. 3} Opens the kitchen waste basket magnetic lid every time she walks by. Won't dig in the garbage, just has to open the lid.
That said, I wouldn't trade these dogs for ANYTHING!!! |

| Well after 5 weeks, Max's full personality has come out and he just had his first "zoomies" around the house. We have hardwood floors and he still hasn't developed his hardwood floor walk... funniest thing I've seen in a while. |

| I forgot one... This has nothing to do with being a husky and everything to do with being male! Peeing.... ....on everything while on a walk. I think he makes sure to save some pee while peeing on a mailbox post if he looks ahead and happens to see a trash can by the road. Often he cocks his leg and only produces a dribble... just because there's something to pee on!! |
