| Is he still throwing up? If you're that concerned because the behavior is so odd I would take him to the vet no questions asked (even for something little - 40 dollars just to be on the safe side is well worth it to me).
Bella threw up undigested food once and was panting a lot for one day and she had a vet appointment scheduled by the next day. It was just a general appointment to make sure she was healthy - that and with her heart I wanted to make sure she was fine and it was just a random freak incident. _________________ |

| Hm. You shouldn't need his chip number to take him to the vet I would think. If he just threw up that once I'd vacuum to try and get all these little papers he's eating up and just watch him to make sure he's eating and drinking okay. He might just have had an upset stomach/having an off day. Dogs are just as capable of that as we are - but I worry too when Bella seems off. Like I said - vacuum up the papers and if he's not throwing up still just watch him to make sure he doesn't get worse and if he does call the vet. _________________ |

| Is he still eating, drinking, peeing and pooping as normal? Is it possible he's eaten something he shouldn't have? (not just the paper). Throwing up just the once doesn't in itself mean he needs the vet, it would just mean keep an eye on him. But since his other behaviour is different, if you're worried I would take him to the vet.
It doesn't matter about the chip number. You don't need it to take him to the vet. |

| Our pets should be considered our kids in the way we take care of them (food, vet care, etc). I would take him in. It could be something simple, it could be something big. A friend of mine had a husky that was eating paper and dirt constantly. They took her in to find out she had an iron deficit just like humans get.
I'm not saying that is the problem, only that you shouldn't hesitate to take him in if he isn't acting right. |
