So, my female husky is just now beginning to obsess with digging... I don't know what to do. I have never had a dog with a digging problem. I caught my male husky in the act and he learned fast that he doesn't do that again. It wouldnt bother me to let them dig, except I live in a rental house and it drives my husband crazy for her to dig. Any advice on how to deter her from this?

Provide her with a sandbox where she can dig. HuskyLuv has posted some pics of hers and it deters digging except in the sandbox!

| We need to try the sandbox too. Ghost has just in the last week started digging like crazy in our backyard, and no amount of correction seems to be working with her. She also likes to "dig" in the water dish we have inside, which leaves our living area floor flooded all the time. Thank god for tile! _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | My girl digs, and my boy stands in the water dish when he drinks. |

Put poop in it. It will stop her, though you'll have to fill a few holes before she decides it's no fun. _________________ -Sara

lol. Learned that from my puppy class. It does help a lot. I got Siku to stop digging for a while, but them got Elara who started up her love of digging again. _________________ -Sara
