So it's been since Miya's birthday since I posted new pics. A wonderful friend and member here sent me a digital camera for Christmas, and yes it took me this long to figure it out, lol. They are not the best pics, still learning, but I wanted to post up some, please disregard the clutter of our tiny house, haha....

This was a tricky pic, Kitana will not sleep near Miya, but if I sit between them all is good, I got up and took the pic....I call the way they sleep "shrimp mode", lol

Good luck with the new camera - our "new"camera is at least 4-5 yrs old and I am still learning it. Didn't figure out video mode 'til a couple of months ago

You're so lucky there is still room on the couch for you when they are both up there. Kenzi doesn't shrimp mode anything on the couch. She just stretches and takes it all. lol.

@Jane - it is funny, people here haven't seen light colored huskies, I have one neighbor who will stop every so often to remind me how beautiful she is, lol.

@Casey - Thank you, I always thought her ears would shrink, lol, it makes her who she is.

@Lucy - I thought really she would grow into them, <sigh> lol

@Liz - Maybe i can get a better pic of Kitana in "shrimp mode" she and Miya really look like a shrimp curled up that way, hahahahaha

@Ashleigh - I was always bummed that Miya and Kitana were not like other households where cat and dog snuggle up with eachother, lol, Seriously though I am glad that get along this well. Still tweaking camera but more will be coming.

@Amy - Thank you for the camera encouragement, also that means a lot to me on her lines, I always thought she had good lines, but her ears mess it up, lol.

@Jimmy - Thank you, I debated with myself for 5 minutes on taking shrimp pic, lol, and another 5 minutes on if I would post it, now I'm glad I did.

@Jenn - Actually me, my husband, Kitana and Miya all fit there just fine, haha, I've commented before that there was room for another husky.

@Graham - haha, she loves being rubbed right behind them, lot's of space to rub, lol.

Its a great pic Renee, I'm glad you posted it too I was only on for a few minutes before I left for work this morning and was so excited to see your pics...so I just had to post to u before I left (fortunately my car is qwik, LOL, I made it on time with 3 minutes to spare, hahaha)

Ah, thanks Jimmy!! Once I get the camera down pat, I will try video, since that pic becomes more interesting, in that Miya starts inching closer to Kitana, at a certain point Kitana wakens takes one look at Miya, as in you filthy dog how dare you inch your way closer to me and then zoom, off she goes, then Miya starts to cry, lol, it is comical, cat wants nothing to do with her and Miya only wants to snuggle, haha, and I'm serious!!

So we had a lovely day, no rain, haha, been raining off and on for 3 weeks now and another week of rain on its way. So we took a long jeep ride around our little town, did some mudding and swimming and just good ole fun!!

Wow, Miya's coat is getting even lighter, she looks beautiful!!! You can tell in her face how she loves that Jeep

Thanks Jimmy!! It takes forever to upload the pics, and I hit send by accident, I have more to post up, but this will be a good start. She is getting lighter, her blow coat is not completely done, and I admit that first pic was right after she went swimming in the pond, it flows under the dirt road, and this is the first year that there is actually water on both sides. She was thrilled. She also got to play with a friend of ours son, he's 10 years old, on Saturday, they were the best of buds. She couldn't stop playing and kissing this kid, I so seriously should have grabbed the camera for that, oh well, next time!!

Thank you Jenn and Jane. Hopefully tonight I can post up the rest. We were gone at least an hour and a half yesterday, and she was pooped the rest of the day, haha.

This is one of the most secluded areas around here, and Miya is so respectful, yes it is a cemetery, she has walked up to the open gate and will not go in, I taught her that she needs to be invited into an area, so she wont go in. It has such a huge run area, so we take her there once in a while so she can do her sprints.

Thank you Lucy. She is such a doll for us. Funny we have to call the jeep 4 wheeler, and even if we whisper 4 wheeler, she is running in circles, she wants to go, haha.

Everything looks so green and pretty there! I agree that Miya does look a little lighter in color. I love the fact that she is so happy with the jeep! She just looks like she is having a blast!
