I found a couple of pics, one taken before we sold her winning 4 wheeler, she's been bummed for a couple of weeks, goes out to the garage looking for it, awwwww  

The other is a terrible pic of me and Miya, taken exactly a year ago, was working on painting our new house, construction zone you can see. I hate my pic being taken, my husband walked in after work and caught us

Thanks jimmy! The last pic is poor quality, but you might be able to see Miya's blue ring around her eyes. It's probably not terrible, just hate my pic taken.

Haha, I dislike being in pics as well so I understand...its a great pic though...and yes, I do see her blue rings...Kohdi's eyes are different, one is pretty much half brown, and half blue (gives him the look of being "surprised" all the time, LOL) and his other eye started to turn but stopped, so theres this really cool "clear" cover over the brown which makes it almost gold (I'm gonna post a puppy pic in his scrapbook that shows it really well)...my preference is brown eyes, especially if the husky is light colored, Miya's are so big and beautiful

Her eyes are full of expression, it's amazing, you can almost see the wheels turning, Hahahaha

And you just KNOW those wheels ARE turning, hahaha...too cute

I think most people, me included, always think that pictures of ourselves are awful even when they aren't. It's a great picture, I think. I love the special picture. Lol.

Jenn, I knew I had to put it up, everyone has a couple of themselves here so I took the plunge. Yes special, indeed, LOL!! Did that to our cat once and she flipped out, Miya was like "Hiya, I'm Miya, I'm special", hahhaha

Thank you Ashleigh, she still does that to me, when I least expect it, it's a slow approach for her and the next thing I know she's in my lap. I always held her and walked around with her, somewhere around 5 or 6 months of age I couldn't pick her up any more, so she figured a way, lol.

Great pictures! I love how comfortable she looks no matter if its a jeep, a four Wheeler, or your lap!

Is she as calm as she looks?

For the most part. She is very well mannered, exceptional discipline for a husky. She is fast as lightening though, so she devours play time and walks like it's nothing. Yet I have had a bad knee injury 2 weeks ago and my walks and play time have been very limited, and she has been very laid back about it. My husband says she's down for whatever, and that truly is Miya.

I'm sorry about your knee injury! I hope you recover quickly!

I'm so excited, got some great pics of Miya and boyfriend number 2 Duke. Duke was rescued by our neighbors, he was roaming the streets, he was matted and skinny and they took him home. He's as sweet as can be and has become quite a goody buddy with Miya. To be honest we had about a dozen great pics, but hubby deleted all but these, he thought too many to post up.......













Now they also have Rose, an old beagle, who's left front paw doesn't work so well, she was rolled a few times, and as we were leaving Duke decided he wasn't done playing and started chasing her, funny since she runs with 3 legs. Until recently, and once I saw him and they told me his story, I always thought Miya and Duke were related, a previous litter. No mistaken he is not related, he's shorter than Miya and his ears and muzzle are clearly different. They do make a cute match and they had sooooo much fun.

Thank you to you both!! I was hoping that you could tell the difference between the 2, they are so similar yet very different looking. Miya's white saddle is coming in way deeper of a white this year, so it off sets her silver/grey nicely. I'm hoping to snag some pics of Miya and boyfriend number 1 Zeke this week, then you all will see some significant contrast.

They are pretty similar but the male seems to have quite a bit more darker markings. Love silver huskies! Well, I love all huskies in all colors but still...

Aww. Her buddy. So cute seeing them play. I'm sure they have such fun together. And good for your neighbors for rescuing him!

I love the expressions of huskies in play. The ears that just tell you they ready to run and jump and plow each other down. Great pictures!

It's nice to see Miya have another buddy! Loki's buddy (a pitbull from next door) moved away a couple weeks ago. Does she run over there all the time?

Jenn, I was surprised that we got so many good action pics, not easy to do.
Casey, They live about 5 miles from us, so no, in fact bf #1 lives right next to us, about half mile, he comes to visit her, but Miya is a good girl will not leave her property unless told to.

Had snoopy husband on the forum and noticed our completed jeep pic wasn't here. After me instructing him on how to post pics, he gave up, he is way better with computers than myself, told me this site was impossible, lol. So got the pic up for him, and the jeep looks real good, ha. More importantly Miya loves it, we have to call it the 4wheeler.
