i do love it but not when its freeeezing!

Sara and I have met a few times - It's hard to find time with my crazy-ass schedule.

I am around Macomb, Mi. and would like to meet others around me. I have 2, one that is 13 months and another that is 5 months. I would have to wait until March, because the baby is going to get fixed in Feb. and I want to make sure she is healed before meeting new pups.

Maria, Macomb is less than an hour drive from me. We should hang out sometime too!

That all sounds like so much fun, Nala would LOVE some time with other huskies I am sure!!

There is an H2M2 michigan meet this Sunday. Starts at noon. In madison Heights at the Red Oaks Dog Park. Pretty much in the area we were all just talking about meeting up in March. If I can get my fiance to have the day off on Sunday, then I will totally be there. Will let y'all know if I can make it.

Guess my fiance can't get the day off from work so I won't be able to make it out. Anyone is welcome to come visit me while I can't go anywhere! lol.

Lol Nala will head butt the window until we roll it down we try to avoid taking her places in the winter too chilly to have the window down, she also knows when we are pulling up to petsmart she goes crazy!

Lucy, I have a fenced in yard it is not huge however, enough for them to run around and get crazy. We have a couple that drops by ever so often with a 5 year old female and my 13 month old Kodabear gets along famously with her. He looks a lot like your pup. He is also pure white. I will up date on this thread after the baby, Meeka gets fixed. Her fix date will probably be towards the end of Feb.

I would love to go to the meet up. Madison Heights would be close enough. However, this is just a little bit too cold for me and the young one does not have her thick fur yet.

Next time definitely.

Yeah. I really want to send something to the administrators (or the overall H2M2 coordinator) but I would have a hard time not being snarky.

Ive said something to the western admin and the eastern admin before, the eastern just said talk to the west and the western said that because of the cold weather she doesnt want to make it far away for everyone "because no one wants to drive an hour to hang out for an hour then leave", which translated means "its inconvenient for me to drive more then 10 minutes from my house to convenience the other members in our group" at least thats how i understood it.

I dont even care if one doesnt come to my town, but i feel the point of the group is to travel around, for example; one month detroit, then grand rapids, then lansing, then maybe down by the border, then maybe up north.

Well see how it plays out come the end of the winter season. I do know that I will probably host my own hiking things, cause i like to go to different areas and hike the trails and i prefer it not to be in my home town because i can do that during the week

Agreed. Nice to know that "everyone" is meant the people who regularly show up to their events. They might have more regulars if they were more flexible. Oh well. I don't mind driving to the event if it was worth it, but the one I went to was incredibly boring because the regulars are clique-y.

I would love to get Nala more out and about to play with pups and get her socialized its so hard when no one feels like going out in the cold let alone drive in this weather, i would not drive an hour away to stand there alone while Nala plays for an hour or so, i really hope something happens and we get a meet in our area!

Ill probably end up going to the lansing meet up even though, it annoys me, the pup enjoys it, and really whats an hour drive, i already drive 50 mins on average just to work, so why not for a little fun and many hours of a tired puppy lol....

When is the next one?

nvm I found it. I will be there one the Feb 22nd E.Lansing one. It really isn't a horrid drive considering I drive to Lansing a lot anyways.

Anyone going to go/ need more information about the East Lansing Meet? It is this Saturday at the Northern Tail Dog Park at 11:00AM

This was the thread I meant to mention this in, but I will be in the Wixom Lyon Oaks Bark Park until about 3 or 4 if anyone wanted to meet up.
