2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. We bought this one for Kai when she was around 6 months. Could not recommend it higher.

Question about a harness Empty
PostSubject: Re: Question about a harness   Question about a harness EmptyFri Nov 08, 2013 9:09 am

but does it still fit her now? im afraid to spend money on a harness just for her to out grow it in another couple months...

one way or another i have to get a harness because she managed to slip out her collar the other day while we were close to a busy road and scared the crap out of me... luckly she didnt want to run she just wanted to play catch me if you can and stayed in a small yard, until i got one of the people who were laughing at us to let me pretend like i was taking their car for a ride lol...

Yes, she's only 7 months now so she has not grown that much, but it's adjustable and they sell them in weight ranges:

Size guide - fit by weight:
6-11 lbs
9-16 lbs
10-25 lbs
18-33 lbs (will fit to almost 38 lbs)
25-55 lbs (will fit to almost 65 lbs)
55-110 lbs (will fit to almost 120 lbs)
110-250 lbs

We bought the 25-55 pounds one, knowing she may not get past 55 pounds and if she happens to, we'll upgrade, but she'll be fine for some time.

Agree. This is my everyday harness.

At first it pretty much eliminated all pulling, but now he's figured out he can turn his body to pull. Still better than the regular harness though.

I bought Karli a harness at about 7 months and she's over a year now and has not grown out of it at all. The 25-55 one would definitely work if Rikku isn't overly large.
