Okay everyone I am getting another husky pup from a lady that took her in when she was young, she is now 6 months. She apparently had worms when she was little and now has a sensitive stomach. She has told me she is now on the gluten free diet. I will be taking her to my vet right away to get examined but would like to know what your opinions are on decently priced grain free foods.

We feed Earthborn Holistic Coastal Catch grain free and used to feed Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream. Both are priced between $45-50/ 28-30 lb bag. There are also some cheaper but similar quality brands at Costco if you have one near you. Check out the feeding forum for some reviews on these.

Have you been to the Green Spot at all?? I definitely suggest going there and talking to the owner .

What are you feeding your other husky?? I have fed, with the best success; Natures Variety Rawboost (which is made in Lincoln) and Fromm. While those are a little bit more expensive, with three adolescent dogs, I get by about a month and a half with a 30 pound bag.

I will have to go check out the Green spot. We feed our current husky Nutro Natural Choice. When we take in this other pup we are thinking about just going all grain free so she doesn't try to eat his food and get sick. We are also thinking about making the food ourselves.
