| Does your dog have access to water during the sleeping hours? Mine used too until Bourbon started sleeping outside of the crate. We took it away while he learned to sleep outside the crate comfortably. The others are looking for their water and I am not sure how much I should leave out now that at 9mo I would hope Bourbon does not pee at night if I leave it out. Just looking for others who do or do not leave out the water at night.
Info for thought: He has free use all day except an hour or two when in crate during day. He has free use up until we all go to bed then the bedroom does not have a water bowl. I am starting to re introduce this water bowl in the bedroom since my other older dogs have looked for it the past month. (Bourbon has been fully trained to sleep in the room for the whole evening.) |

| I used to pick up Lucian's water at night until he was about 5 or 6 months old I think. Ever since then it's been left down at night, and he's never had one accident. |

| My sibe has access to water at night and never has an accident. Faith has to sleep in a crate without access to water because she will have an accident if she's not in her crate. _________________ |

| I feed raw, so my dogs drink very little water as it is. I leave water down at all times because I've never had an issue. Maybe kibble feeding is different? |

| thank god there is a thread about this.i was going to start a new thread if not. i recently learned that if i take the water away around 7 at night my pup won't have an accident through the night in her crate. she has free access all day and fed three times a day last meal at around 6 at night. just wonder if anybody else has had success with a puppy potty training this way? at least to get through the night mainly? she is 13 weeks old btw thanks |
