| So I'm going to do the RAW diet if I feel confident enough to do it supplement wise is the e-barf supplement good or would I still need to give them more vitamins it says it contains
Organic Dried Kelp, Organic Dehydrated Alfalfa Meal, Ground Flaxseed, Dried Yeast, Organic Dried Ground Barley Grass, Organic Dried Ground Wheatgrass, Oat Bran, Dried Ground Barley Malt, Organic Dried Apple Pumice, Pectin, Organic Dried Ground Beet, Dried Ground Parsley, Dried Ground Barley Sprout, Dried Ground Aloe Vera Gel, Organic Dried Ground Carrot, Organic Dried Ground Broccoli, Organic Dried Ground Tomato, Organic Dried Ground Kale, Dried Ground Celery, Dried Ground Cauliflower, Dried Ground Asparagus, Dried Ground Brussels Sprouts, Dried Ground Garlic, Dried Ground Ginger, Dried Aspergillus niger Fermentation Extract, Dried Aspergillus oryzae Fermentation Extract, Dried Lactobacillus acidophilus Fermentation Extract, Dried Bifidobacterium thermophilum Fermentation Extract, Dried Bifodobacterium longum Fermentation Extract, Dried Enterococcus faecium Fermentation Extract, and Bacillus subtilus Fermentation Extract (Source of Amylase, Cellulase, and Hemi-Cellulase)
and since she's a puppy I would give her 10% of her body weight in meat right? |

| I've personally never used the e-barf supplement, but I do use Nupro dog vitamin supplement. It's like a beef gravy flavor and the dog's love it. To me, the e-barf supplement seems to have a bunch of unnecessary things in it. I'm feeding raw, so I don't want my dog's having the veggies and all that stuff, unless I'm giving it to them fresh. That's just my take on it, other's may feel differently. As for feeding amount, I just eyeball it now, but when I first started I would always feed double what was called for (when the dogs were puppies). I started feeding Vital Essential patties, which are awesome by the way! I would give 2 patties per meal twice a day. Calculator to help you out : http://www.raw4dogs.com/calculate.htm |

| I use Wholistic Canine Complete as a supplement. Nikko eats it like it's part of his food so I'm guessing he likes it haha. |

| WCC is amazing. I make my own supplement. I have one for Cato that has minimal joint support and one for Delilah that is serious joint support. If anyone would like the exact ingredients and measurements let me know |

| As far as supplements go I would highly recommend Nupro or Wholistic Canine Complete. Both are excellent supplements that will complement a raw or kibble diet well. I like to alternate between the two. _________________ |

| No, supplements are not a requirement but many of us do use them as a means of filling in the gaps so to speak. I never used to supplement until I started taking my dogs to a holistic vet who recommended I supplement even on a raw diet. She has never steered me wrong in all the years I've gone to her. _________________ |
