Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! | The wife and I picked out the pup when she was 5 weeks. We picked her up at 8 weeks and it's been puppy time ever since. She's taken to the crate very well and at 9 weeks she is sleeping almost 7 hours before alerting us that it's potty time. No mistakes so far in the crate. During the day, she'll go to the backdoor if she needs to go and so far has only had an accident on the tile due to one of us not noticing she needed out. How fast they grow! Her name is Myka and is AKC and CKC registered. Picture time! 5 weeks at the breeders- 8 weeks and first day home- 9 weeks This is not our first dog, but is a first for raising from a pup. All others had been shelter dogs. The last (passed about 16 months ago) being a Dalmatian that a breeder dumped at the vet because he turned out to be deaf. Anyways, looking forward to being a part this forum and learning something new about our Huskies everyday. |

We're dealing with that now. At first it was harmless "mouthing" the hands. Now it seems her puppy teeth were sharpened and she wants some skin. Did a search here and we're trying the suggestion of walking away or putting her down and saying no. She's a bit better, but more work is needed. She has a few chew toys and picked up a puppy size deer antler this morning. Today she found out what digging is. We'll have to figure this out. Fortunately I'm retired so keeping an eye on her will be easy. |
