So Loki is Black and white. He has a black undercoat not white. I just noticed that the roof of his mouth is black and pink. His pads too, and even his skin! He even has a couple black nails, most are white, and one is half and half. Is this true with all black and whites. Balon is red/white and doesn't really have this? Just kinda cool to see.....

Yeah, Shebs is blk/wht and has the "muti" colored mouth/pads too. Kennedy my golden colored mutt has multi colored pads/mouth too. I think it's just a "depends on the dog" thing.

Yes I just checked Balons pads and he has a couple with different colored spots too.

Sorry I totally killed your party LOL.. Sheba's mouth is super cool though. Her gum lines have like a lightening strike of black on one side and pink on the other. All of her nails are light colored (thank GOD), but Kennedy's nails are white and this really ugly brown color LOL. I hate trying to trim them..

Killed my party? Those gums sound cool! I know my lab has all black nails and I hardly ever do them myself, much easier to pay the vet and I don't have to sweat it lol.

Haha, I mean like that you were all hyped up about it and I was just like "yeahhh.." all boring like.

I'm not so afraid I'll cut to far because I only do a little bit at a time, but it is still so much more nerve racking then the white nails! I can still somewhat see the quick, but only barely. I'm just thankful her dew claws aren't brown or that would really suck since those ones have to be cut almost twice as often.

Aw thank you June . Your black lab I must say has completely stolen my heart. My first dog growing up was a black lab named Misty..I will never forget her.

Gosh Kennedy did the dumbest thing yesterday!! I was trimming her nails the same way I have for almost two years now. I mean she knows the drill. So I go to grab her foot to do her longest nail, get the clipper in place, go to clip...and she JERKS HER FOOT AWAY BECAUSE A FLY FLEW IN FRONT OF HER FACE!! Thankfully it didn't bleed, but I got sooooo close to it. Scared the crap out me and I let out this really high pitched yelp type thing, which scared Kennedy, which scared Sheba who took off flying into the other room cause she knew she was next.. It was just crazy. One of those moments where I want to say..."Stupid dog! You made me look bad!" (netflix is flooded with old Cartoon Network shows ..can't help it).

Ruby is actually a Chocolate lab, she is very dark chocolate lol, people always think in pics she is black. She is really sweet and is my girl for sure! When I first got her I was cutting her nails and all was great, until she suddenly jerked and I swear I cut off half her nail, it was so bad and bled like the dickens, so no more for me lol
