| I know that the stereotype says cats leave presents, not dogs....but Shaqua brings me "presents" from time to time. So far this year she has presented me with 1 dead mole, 1 dead mouse, and a lizard.
Do your dogs every find some "presents" to bring to you? |

| Bode has never brought us a dead present, thank goodness. Though he does like to "share" his chew toys with us. He will bring a toy to us if we are sitting on the couch and just stand there and chew it on our lap.

| Lola hasn't done it yet but my late husky did. His kills...birds, mice, snakes and more. The smaller things he would try to bring inside in his mouth to present to us. The big stuff he'd leave on the patio. Yuck! |

| Most every time we go to the barn, Darwin brings me a tortoise. He doesn't hurt them, but he loves to catch them. He runs around with them in his mouth, they probably way about 15lbs too. He gives them back very nicely and I have to return them to their home. |

| Hunter will bring me his toys and try and push them behind me on the couch so Milla can't find them - much better than dead presents |

| If you count things he hides from us as presents...then yes. Just this afternoon he brought me the remote control I spent hours looking for. |

| I got a small bird and a cricket of all things.
She put half the cricket in front of me while jumping up and down almost like saying "here you try it" haha. |

| Kavik hasn't brought me anything dead yet, just sticks he sneaks in from outside. Jewel, on the other hand, had brought me at least 3 dead mice, 2 birds (that I know of), 1 squirrel, 1 toad, and a live turtle. She would have gotten a possum she once cornered if I hadn’t whacked it away. One of the birds she killed was a baby blue jay that had fallen out of its nest into the yard. The parent stuck around for a few days making a racket and taking dive bombs at her like the psycho mocking birds usually do to squirrels. A similar instance of an aftermath of a ‘present’ was with a family/group of squirrels she had killed a member of. They were around for a couple days too, making the weirdest sounds I had ever heard out of a squirrel. In short, they were pissed! |

| Maya brought me a toad once, it wasn't hurt one bit. She hasn't killed anything yet, she just likes to carry them around, lol. |

| He found one in the back yard this morning too before I left for school! I'll definitely take a picture next time he is with his tortoise buddys. |

| I suspect Karli has been finding earthworms in the holes she's been digging in the backyard. But she doesn't share, I think she eats them. I was watching her one day, she pulled something out of the ground and ate it. Pretty sure it was a worm, ugh. She doesn't need to share those with me lol. |

| Denali caught a squirrel once and was running around the yard with it. My wife couldn't catch her so she called me at work. I told her to sit on the ground and just wait and sure enough, Denali came to her and laid it down at her feet as an offering. |

| Roxy- I can tell that when Shaqua is digging she is chasing moles. She digs furiously while smelling, like she's chasing something. I never saw her actually get one, but I suspect since she brings me moles this is what she is doing.
