| I had been actively looking for a Husky for a very long time, and it never worked out in my favor, until one day I got lucky and found myself a wonderful dog! It all paid off in the end, but enough talk, this is my baby boy Malakie! Drove back home to spend Easter weekend with the family, and let them meet Kie! Sprawling out on the floor! The day we picked him up! I was way to happy! The picture that his previous owner first sent me of him! |

| Congrats! Do you pronounce his name Kie like rhymes with "eye" or "key"? Just curious. I've seen Malachi, but never Malakie. |

| Yea there was a little confusion on the name spelling. The guy spelled it one way on the vet records, and another way when we where sending text back and forth, so I just went with Malakie. Lol it's like it rhymes with 'eye!' He's really well behaved! The vet here at my Air Force base was very surprised with how well he behaved! I'm proud of him! :p |

Cool! How long have you been in? What do you do (AFSC)? I'm currently an active duty Air Force Recruiter in Beaverton, Oregon. My AFSC is Egress/aircraft mechanic on ejection seats. I will be done recruiting in September (it's been 4 long, hard years), and then back to maintenance. I'm currently at NCO Academy at Peterson AFB, CO. I graduate this Thursday. I've been here 6 weeks and have greatly been missing my family and pups! Can't wait to see them Thursday night when I fly home. Hopefully you had a good experience dealing with your recruiter. Most people don't and it's sad. I'm probably one of the few honest recruiters left. |

| Welcome, and Malakie is adorable! It's great to see all of the active duty folks joining up (Kevin, I think I'd missed in there you were AF), I'm active Navy in Annapolis right now. | Counter, my AFSC is 2A0X1S, I'm avionics Backshop on the B-1. REW Backshop to be more exact! Luckily I had a really good recruiter, he was pretty straight forward, and honest with me. We still keep in contact every now, and then. I've been in for about 10 months now! Do you know have orders to a base yet, or are you still waiting?
Thank you everyone! Everywhere I take him everybody always compliments him on his looks, he even makes me a little jealous! Lol :p
I have a friend in the Navy, and he's on year tour, comes back July! |

We've got quite a few members of all branches on here That's cool. I was active duty Navy from 1993-97 stationed in Williamsburg, VA. My Father was USN on the destroyer USS Richard E. Kraus out of Norfolk, VA from 1958-62 during the Cuban Missile Crisis, and my Grandfather was USN on the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid and heavy cruiser USS Boston during WWII in the Pacific. I've been in the AF since 2001. I enjoyed my time in the Navy and am enjoying my time in the Air Force. |

I have a friend in the Navy, and he's on year tour, comes back July! Egress and Avionics sometimes work together, or at least around one another! Glad to hear you had a good recruiter. I've been working hard to change our reputation that's been established by the shady recruiters before us. Where did you live when you joined? And no, I don't have orders yet. I filled out my dream sheet, so my fingers are crossed. Would like to stay in cooler/cold weather so the pups can enjoy the outdoors with our dog sports and activities (bikejoring, sledding, etc.). I'm hoping for Alaska. I don't think there's a better place in the world for Sibes, other than maybe Siberia. Hahaha!!! |

Got to go up, and inside the B-1, and check it out! Was pretty cramped in their cockpit, but it was pretty damn awesome! I feel bad for having Kie in the hot weather. It makes it hard to exercise him! |
