Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! She really has changed. I have to see if I can dig up some baby pix of mine! Her mask went away too. Shaqua is so cute, she's got those crazy husky eyes for sure!
I put together this locket a few weeks ago. It has Shaqua & I's birthstones in it, and this fall when she gets a new sister or brother it will have theirs too. <3
It is. I'm leaning more towards getting another female, but we'll see. I just know that Fall is the perfect time since I'll be done with field work and able to spend more time at home with the pup. I've already been in contact with a few breeders.
Here she is at 2 years old. You can see her eyes faded slightly by this point, and her fur is a little lighter than it was at 6 months old (the previous photo)

The best part of any morning? A fuzzy, cuddly siberian with her tail wrapped around my legs :-)
blu does something simular to this with me every morning, except it's useually his butt pointed at my face which leads to him farting and me almost vomiting. so i take it as his way of saying "hey dude, i have to go to the bathroom... so... like wake up, or else o_o."
anyway, shaqua has grown into a beauty... i prefer her senior pictures over the younger ones (although puppy pics are so cute!). the one of her catching a treat was just awesome.
You'd think, but I gave her a swimming pool once...she didn't give it a second glance. The dog park here also has a swimming pool. She completely ignores it and puts the front half of her body into the drinking water bucket. *sigh* She is such a character.
We have a new puppy in the house for a few weeks. Shaqua just met her today. So adorable!
They are getting along just great. Shaqua isn't sure what to make of her since she is so tiny, but the little pup warmed up to her very quickly and is already batting her in the nose and running away. Shaqua just smells her and ignores it, I can tell she knows that the little one is too fragile to play with as of yet.
Kind of. My parents had a Shiba Inu, and my sister just got a miniature beagle. She's been around the shiba quite a bit, and she played really well with the beagle (it was just a pup). Mostly she is around bigger dogs thought. When I take her to the dog park she prefers the bigger dogs to run and play with.
Shaqua has decided she is the babysitter for this little ball of fur.
It's really cute The puppy gets rambunctious and tries to play with Shaqua, and when Shaqua i in the mood she tries to play back but the puppy just isn't used to a big dog yet and runs and hides. LOL
Shaqua is trying SO HARD to get this puppy to play with her. It's so funny! She rarely barks, but she is barking now just to try to get the little one's attention!
