We have had Kal-el for 2 weeks and we were making good progress with playing outside and going on walks. He plays great inside and runs around like crazy. He ised to play outside but now he would rather play inside and also refuses to go for walks at all. We have tried his favorite treats and toys and he will sometimes play for a few minutes outside but still wont go for a walk. Any advice would be great.

Yes. Our backyard isnt fenced in yet so we take him out on a leash. When we go out at night he is fine but i think the noise of the park across the street is scary but he was fine with it before.

Have you tried taking a small handful of food and tossing it in the grass so he can find it?

If you think the noise from the park is scaring him, I'd try to pick a quieter day to sit outside and give him treats. Don't try to get him excited, just be calm and show him it's fine. Maybe bring a bully stick or chew toy and sit in the grass with him.

I did try the sitting in the yard in the middle of the day so there was no park noise just me and him and he did great. We even walked to the park and around it a couple of days later. Now just yesterday he walked around the park with me and there were kids playing and even another person walking their dog. He stopped and watched them but he didn't try to run home he just sat and watched then when they passed he kept going. I was so proud. Thank you guys for all the good advice. He is making some really great improvements
