Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

Went to a Husky meetup and got to meet Meredith (Ghost) and Kelly (Hayden, Nicky, Brandi) so much fun to see so many huskies in the same place. Have decided I really need to take Balon (and Ruby when shes all healed) to the dog park near me much much more! Balon was a little mommas boy at the park, he did not to what to do there lol. Meredith as I have said before I love Ghost's face, she is gorgeous, and Kelly's pack is more beautiful in person if that's possible. Just so cool to see so many northern breeds in the same place! Can't wait until the next meetup!

Lucky sounds like so much fun, there are very few huskies where I live and my only friend with a husky is always busy *sigh*

Thanks June! It was great meeting you and seeing Meredith again. Balon is a complete sweetheart and was a little shy, but he did have his moments where he broke away. I got some cute pictures of him, I keep forgetting to post! I'll try to figure out how to do it today. Smile

Can't wait for the next meet to meet Ruby and the new little puppy!!

I'm glad you were able to make it out, June! It was so nice to finally meet you and Balon, and he is an absolute sweetheart. As soon as I get a chance to catch my breath from midterms I will post the pictures I took as well as create the next meet. Expect it to be ~3rd weekend in April and probably in Arnold or Baltimore, possibly Annapolis.

lol Kelly I have never seen Balon be so shy lol. Normally he is knocking down people to love on them. I really think he was a bit overwhelmed by all the huskies and people lol. But your right, he is a sweetheart! Very Happy

Meredith really glad I could make it as well. Next time hopefully the labmeister Ruby can come lol.
