| My husband and I went to a new store just down the street to looked at the different types of food I have been reading about on here over the past few days. They did not have Fromm but had TOTW so I bought a small bag of the Salmon one for puppies. I gave Nanook a few pieces when we got home and the puppy just about did a flip and barked at me for more, he never barks lol....later I asked him if he wanted dinner and he ran to the pantry and sat there waiting for me. When I got his bowl ready he was running in circles, it was so cute. He did look a little mad when he realized the old stuff was mixed in. I always that he liked the Kirkland brand but boy does he love the TOTW. Hopefully if works for him. |

| I feed my entire line of working Siberians TOTW with great success With any kibble I always suggest soaking the kibble for at least 20min to make it nice and soft for puppies. Aspiration is very dangerous and soaking the food will limit that risk. |

| I will do that, thank you for the suggestion. He did eat it so fast so that makes sense. |

| Our Luna has had tummy issues since we got her. We started her out on Purina puppy chow, which is what the breeder had her on. She constantly had runny BMs. So the vet suggested to switch her to PurinaOne puppy food, so we did that with no success. Then we found the TOTW brand and asked our vet about it and he said with all the natural ingredients it had in it, to go for it. So we did. We have had success with the TOTW and Luna's upset tummy. Her BMs are no longer runny. However, she doesn't eat very much. It's not because she doesn;t like the food, I can give her pieces of food as treats and she eats it up. But she just doesn't seem to want to eat her food food when we put her bowl down. Does anyone else have an issue with their husky not eating much? Is it an actual issue or is it normal for the breed? |

| Has your dog started eating again? I have not had an issue with Nanook not eating everything the second he gets it. He is a pig. Sorry if I am no help, Nanook is our first husky and we are learning as we go. |

| She eats on and off. I don't think she has ever gone an entire day without eating though. I know you're supposed to have them on a feeding schedule, and we tried that. But, it seems to me like she eats better if we just leave it down. It's still the same amount of food as if we had her on a feeding schedule though. Does that make sense? |

| Grain free protein rich foods such as TOTW require less per day than foods such as Purina that have more fillers, so that could be part of it. |

| Huskies are also notorious for self-regulating. If they're not hungry, they won't eat. It doesn't mean that something is wrong or that they don't like the food.
My two did great on TOTW. We switched to Earthborn for cost reasons at the time, but now they're comparable.
I wouldn't worry too much if Luna doesn't always eat. If she starts losing weight, then you might want to check with the vet. My girl has gone a couple of days in the past not eating. It freaked me out at first. |

| I was gonna switch to tase of the wild today.. But when i went to the store i seen that they also carried earthborn.. And since it is a little higher rating and was pretty much the same price i decided to do earthborn.. Then i let koda free feed during the day from about 7-4 (he is in a indoor/outdoor kennel whn im at work and i leave his food out) but when im home and if he seems hungrey ill put a little more out for him.. I know some people dont agree with free feeding but i feel he is doing well with it |

| Our boys eat TOTW now. It costs only a few bucks more than what we were feeding them. I made the switch afer noticing their coats we're not as shiny and our GSP was getting stomach problems. Our boys love it so much. Even Danzig eats more often now. |

It freaked me out at first. She's definitely not losing any weight. She does eat, she just doesn't eat all that we put down for her in one sitting. I'd say generally she'll eat about a cup of food a day. |

| Even since I got my husky when he was 5 1/2 months old, he only eats when he wants to. I tried kibbles, raw food, cooked food and it's the same with him. So it's not a food problem. It's just a husky thing. However, sometimes when it's a little too much and he starts losing weight, I'll have to force him to eat some boneless cooked chicken. I know I'm not doing the right thing here but he just loss too much weight sometimes if i just let him be that I can see his ribs. I've never known dogs to starve themselves that much. So I make sure that everyday he at least has some food in him be it kibbles, raw food or cooked. |

| I feed TOTW and mine do fine on it. I was feeding Orijen and would certainly prefer it..but had to switch to TOTW when i got my second husky for cost reasons. |

| It's awesome to see so many people feeding TotW! I was wondering about that brand, too. They have a puppy version? Maybe I'll switch him from Eukanuba a few weeks after we get him! |

| TOTW is probably the most economical grain free kibble out there...hence the popularity. It bares a 4.5 rating on dog food advisor. |

| How much does TOWT cost in your areas?
I just made the move to TOWT (well more like a trial run), however a 30LB bag is $50 here at the locat "Feeder Store" and Blue Wilderness is $52 for 24lb bag.
I thought the consensus here is the Blue is better. |

| About 49 for a 30 lb bag.
Blue is rated a half star higher on dogfoodadvisor..the grain free that is. |

Yes they do have a puppy formula, that is what I am giving Nanook now. His gas has almost cleared up completely since we started it...this boy could clear a room!!!!! LOL |

| As some forum members will know, I think TOTW was giving our GSP REALLY bad gas, so we switched flavors from fowl to Salmon. We'll see how that goes. |
