| So we're gonna try American Natural Premium this time. I have tried Diamond extreme athlete and though they liked it and it put weight on them Bella got terrible gas from it. I talked to an employee at the dog patch and she suggested Native so I tried that and they still have some left but Bella's weight is almost back down to when I brought her home and Jasper doesnt seem to like it. But theres no gas so I'm thinking Bella cant have chicken which was the diamond protein and Jasper doesnt like the lamb in the native. So American Natural Premium Ocean fish variety is my next try. Anybody got any other suggestions? I cant afford anything like Blue Buffalo, TOTW, Wellness, and the pups went through the 50# diamond bag in a month but that was leaving it out and letting them feed when they wanted. I've switched to giving them about a cup or cup and a half twice a day so I'm not sure how much we'll go through in a month, I'm trying to keep to a bag of kibble a month because thats what I know for sure I can afford while looking for an actual job. |

| Have you tried the Naturals line of Diamond (Diamond Naturals) There's also Premium Edge which is similar to Diamond, and also California Natural. Depending on the variety, Natural Balance can be almost up to par, as well as Chicken Soup. Those are all around the same price range, much less than Totw / Blue buffalo. |
