| His undercoat has darkened to a buff color, so he looks really wolfy right now. |

| Ive just embraced my dogs fierce reputation.
"Ma'am, you may want to keep your children at a distance. Theyre small and my wolf dog has an insanely high prey drive. Her paws are clearly giant to help with all the murdering. Run. Run now. Im losing control." |

| I've done that too when I've had a bad day and I'm just over everything, especially people. I'll be sitting outside and then someone says "oooohhhh, can I pet your....." as their hand invades my personal space and I say "seriously, you're gonna pet a strange wolf?" And then I'm left alone |

| Jeff, you look manly enough that on a bad day, muttering that phrase, i bet people you encounter go home and tell their whole family they just met real-life snake pliskin and his pet wolf. |

| A little off topic, but one time I gave a homeless man who looked like snake (eye patch and all) a couple bucks for beers because he was afraid of pending dental surgery. Later, I saw him again, and he waved me down. I swore to myself that if he asked for more money Id never help anyone ever again. He just wanted to say thanks, by giving me half his bottle of vicodin from his dental surgery. Thanks Snake! Ill help you escape from soberville anytime! |

Funniest thing I've read all day. I'd really like to say this to people sometimes! |

| The MOST recent thing I've encountered is that Karli is too skinny. Her boyfriend is a ridgeback mix and he is big and muscley. He has a sister that is a black lab and she's just a baby so she's pudgy and rolly-polly. Their owner told me this last weekend that Karli is too skinny and needs to eat a cheeseburger. It kind of drives me nuts when I hear that because she eats well and she even manages to sneak my hubby's food on occassion!! I did explain that she has a high metabolism and as a husky she's supposed to be lean. It just gets frustrating because I swear I feed my dog!! |

| Lots of people comment on how skinny Loki is as well. It may not help I have 28"+ 105lb black lab who is standing next to him, but labs are built differently. Unless Loki is part lab, I don't expect he would ever get as bulky/wide as my lab. Loki also has shorter smooth coat, which seems to show off how narrow/lean he is built.
But I know for a fact Loki gets 4.5 cups of food a day at 50lbs while my lab gets 3 cups. Though I feel like you Roxy that I have to defend it by saying how much I feed him. |

| I don't watch GOT, but I was taking Pippa to the park when she was a puppy and some guy was like, "OH! A direwolf?!" And I, jokingly, said yes. He stopped, turned around and was like, "Wait REALLY?!"
Yep, my 8 month old, spastic husky is a direwolf. I know they used huskies and mals for the show, but seriously? She weighed like 30 lbs haha |

| The location I live is pretty boring. I get told how gorgeous she is and asked if she can she be pet. The only confusion is is she a husky or malamute. What a yawn, at least you all get to mix it up a little. |

| What is way more annoying that such things is when people want to tell you what your Husky needs.. They need to walk more than the roman legions did on a daily basis, the cannot be trained, they need to eat fish bla bla blub |

| People are idiots around here too. Especially on hikes I get wolf a lot. Oh and the dogs used in Game of Thrones were called Northern Inuit's, basically a mixed breed in the UK consisting of GSD, Mal, and Husky. |

They actually consist of other Inuit breeds as well. The ones that are just GSD, Mal, and Husky are called Tamaskans. |

| I had some guy tell me to use the furminator on Dizzy yesterday. I told him I would never touch my dog with that, and that it actually has a blade in it that would damage his coat. He then went on to tell me his 'friend' has bred huskies for years and uses the furminator. I just rolled my eyes and said I be he shaves them in the summer too... |
