Thanks Amy That's a beautiful park on the water in the middle of the city. Sea planes take off and land right over head and they're so close you could hit them with a rock. It's kinda neat. Link loved watching the planes.

Haha, Link gave up on birds a long time ago. If you dressed a car up as a squirrel though.....

I'm always so envious of everyone who gets to take their dogs to the beach. It looks like such fun. Great pictures. _________________

Thanks everyone. It's really great to see them chase and wrestle in the water. My dog loves to be in lakes and in the sound. I think a Husky named Taco is one of the most wonderfully ridiculous things, ever

| That second pic , Link just looks SO beautiful. With your lakes, are dogs allowed up to the water? I found out the one by my house, dogs have to be 25 ft from the water. While I can understand it, it kinda sucks.
A random name like Taco is just so...cool |

During busy times in summer dogs are not allowed on beaches, but off season it's fine. Also, there are 3 or 4 dog beaches in Seattle . It's kinda neat.

Ah, ok, it's similar here in that dogs are allowed on the beach after certain hours (I think 6pm) we kinda don't have that much of a off season I don't think but we do have 2 dog beaches that I know of. I'd never take my dogs there though, I've heard it can be a bit "uncivilized" at times. I thought you had said lake, so that's why I asked about your lakes, my bad anyways Jeff, I think Link is stunning! I love everything about him.

Thanks Jimmy I did say lake. Seattle is surrounded by lakes and Puget Sound. Those photos are from Puget Sound. I, too, have given up on dog parks/beaches. I have for a while now and by doing so have eliminated lots of stress and now I just focus on bonding with my dog. We have meet ups with Taco and that's about it for him socializing with dogs. I'm subscribing to the idea that dogs need lots of dog friends and play time less and less. Beyond puppyhood, where I think it's very important, it's just less and less warranted that he needs dog time, especially the more well trained he becomes. *shrug*

I like those chess pieces, but why are there two Kings on that board??? _________________ “Properly trained, a man can be dog’s best friend.” Corey Ford .

I believe Link is filling the role of the knight. Hence, one king.

I feel like this is a perfect opportunity to do some funky perspective shots of Link being very tiny. Some artist needs to make a giant soda cup to scale with the chess pieces, then you could have some real fun. _________________

Haha, he thinks he's King sometimes Al, but that usually lasts a few seconds and one tap of the E-collar button and then he gets Knightly once again Jen, indeed. My White Knight. Jenn, wouldn't that be great! I tried to set up a scenario with all the pieces so that he would have the black King in checkmate, but that was a bit of a sh*tshow. So I settled for this. If I had a black/white Husky for use around here we could set up some great shots at this park.

Great picture, Jeff. Glad to see you are back. So what are the various hats Sir Link is wearing these days? Sniff, sniff - he looks all grown up, too
