Oh the first day. It gets a little harder. Not in a bad way, for me it was a double edged sword. After the first like 2 or 3 days Vegeta's personality REALLY came out. He went from sleepy, I just want my toys, and I never bite to WIDE AWAKE PLAY WITH ME NOW OH YOU TOUCHED ME I MUST PUT TEETH ON YOU! haha. So it was nice to go from a shy dog to a really playful one but when you've got school work you have to sit and do a hyper active pup isn't always easy. Patience is key, which I'm sure you know.

He is so cute and spoiled! You have tons of toys which is nice. I wish I had the money to get Vegeta more toys...the like 8 bones/toys he has just doesn't seem enough. I notice you have a bed for him...does he chew on it? I want to get a bed like that to keep outside the crate for Vegeta but I don't want to spend the money for him to shred it and think it's a chew toy.

I can already see his personality coming out after the first day. It is super hard when you have work, thankfully I can bring him to work with me and hopefully I can work on crating there.

I bought tons of his toys at Ross and Marshall's so they were super cheap. He chewed on the bed a little bit but he prefers to sleep on the floor anyway so he's not really engaged with it. We got it from Marshall's and only paid $20 for it. Those are two awesome stores to find beds/toys/some treats for super cheap.

He's so cute, looks so much like Peaches. She has that same hedgehog stuffy, it's her favorite toy. Congrats no your new baby.

That last picture is super funny. It's true, it gets harder, then easier again He's a big cutie.

Patience girl, patience. It gets a bit more difficult, but it's totally worth it! Plus, it passes in no time!

The cat and puppy are pretty hilarious. The puppy wants nothing to do with / is scared of the cat and the cat is afraid but ridiculously curious of the puppy.

I'm glad to hear it gets harder but easier. I know I just need patience, I just worry about a lot of things and since it's my parents house I'm even more paranoid about something happening. I'm just hoping I can get him used to his crate sooner rather than later. Lol. XD

Lil Mishka looks like he's doing great in his new home Congrats.

His first vet appointment was today! He weighed in at a whopping 14lbs. He did great in the car.





First full day home.

love love love!!!!! & willow loves the cat toys too!! LOL! i have one that makes a weird noise when it moves & she loves it. i try to take it away from her but every time we go to my parents house - she finds it. lol!!

^ Oh yeah he goes back to it constantly. I have to pick up the scratch pad that has them all in it. He also likes to rip the cardboard off the scratch box just like the cat!


Mishka is at work with me today. I go to take him out to potty and he didn't want to go. So as I'm trying to get him to go out the office, he hops on a box of filed away papers and proceeds to pee on it! I yelled no and grabbed him up and took him outside to finish. I was like :OOO the whole time! I was so shocked he did that. OTL.

He is one good looking pup!

Mishka turned 9 weeks yesterday! And I've had him for a total of 5 days so far.

We had our first pee accident in the house. It was totally my fault because he was going to the back door trying to let me know!

He has sit and down learned. I am moving on to teaching him paw, other paw, fist bump (for the fiance's amusement), roll over, etc.

I need to work on leash manners. He's not always bad but he takes off at high speed and has already kamikaze'd in the air a couple of times. He also gets super excited at times and starts biting at clothes. This is the one that really annoys me. It's usually never in a place where I can just yip and get away. I have to yank my jacket or pants out of his mouth and then try to stand and ignore him - we're usually outside when this happens.

He finally noticed the cat. I am trying to nip that in the bud though. The cat will hiss like crazy and run away and of course he wants to chase. I've been trying to keep him on a lead so he can't actually chase the cat, but they have been pretty close to each other.

Other than that he's been really good at night with his crate and pottying. I only have to get up maybe once to bring him out. His crate during the day is another story. He'll go in quiet and lie down with toys and treats, but 5 minutes later he's throwing hell. Of course I just ignore him. Today is his first day crating while I'm at work and my mom is going to let him out to potty.

I will try to post some pictures I took of him yesterday later this afternoon!

its hilarious how much he reminds me of willow. she does pretty much all of the same things.

Well they are from the same litter! Lol. They're probably all little crazies.

@Jinsua - He is doing much better. He is sleeping for a good 4 hours straight and will wake up to potty, then sleep again until about 5:30-6:00. I'm up getting ready for work. He grumbles a bit during the day when I crate him but nothing like he was acting.

hahahhaha. I have puppy wipes I use on willow - surprisingly enough the dirt comes off very easily.
