| This is our newest pack member Brandi! We believe she is 11 weeks old and don't know much about her past. Not even 100% if she is purebred, but she is a real sweetheart and a complete love bug! I found her advertised on craigslist by a man way out in the country. The ad said she belonged to his mother, but the puppy didn't get along with her older St. Bernard and so she wanted to rehome the puppy. The man said his mom purchased Brandi from a breeder for $600, but couldn't provide breeder information. He claimed that she also has all her shot's except rabies, but couldn't provide any shot records for me. Her living arrangements were absolutely horrible! She smelled like alcohol, cigarettes, mold, and urine. I was a little upset at the fact the man was apparently home with her all day and only fed her one meal and that was at 3pm and I didn't pick her up until after 8pm. He didn't give me any food to take home and all the pet stores were closed. The poor thing was starving! She also has fleas, so I put frontline on her right away! I need to get some heartowrm meds too. Aside from all that, she is a decent weight, but he was feeding her pedigree (in the process of switching her to grain-free). We are taking her to the vet and getting all her shots performed again, since they couldn't provide shot documentation. First thing in order, was a BATH! She actually smell's like a puppy now and is blending in pretty good with the rest of the dog's. Nicky isn't totally crazy about her yet, but that was to be expected (she has major attitude issues with all female dog's). All the other dog's loved her though. Brandi is completely different from Nicky and Hayden. She is very outgoing and such a joy! She sleep's in the car and slept the entire night in her crate with zero accidents and didn't cry at all! I'm very happy with this little girl! She kisses everyone she meets and has a non-stop wagging tail. She also loves to talk and has a lot to say! To me, she look's sort of malamute, because she's huge! Then again, that doesn't mean much, because of genetics. Does anyone else have an opinion on if she's pure or not? Either way she is beautiful and we love her just the same. I'm interested to see how much her coat will change! - On our way home - Meeting Hayden (too rainy to meet outside) don't mind the ugly walls, we're remodeling! - Nicky wondering why some strange dog has her turtle - Happy girl - Sleepy girl - I love her color - Probably the first time she's seen toys. She was in toy heaven! - loves her belly rubs - we took her on her first shopping spree! - her first cookie from petco - enjoying her antler

| Congrats on the new addition! Wow, she IS Huge looking at the comparison with Nicky and Hayden! Might be mal! My brother's puppy was 11 1/2 weeks old (not a husky or mal) when I was there and she was 28 lbs at the time, on target to be 100-ish. How much does she weigh? Looks like Chili as a puppy (i imagine!) Adorable! |

| She doesn't give me any reason to believe she isn't a Husky. I wouldn't say Mal- face is too Husky. With some proper food and care i'm sure her coat will adjust and fill out making her look more like a Husky puppy She's so cute! Congrats! _________________ Force Free Training ThreadCheyenne, Mishka, Mickey, Rodeo, & Odin Are you a Husky owner in South Florida?! Join our facebook meetup group! |

| She's adorable! Her mask looks a little like Kays. If only Kay was a cute little red like that, she's a red wanna be. |

| What a sweet face! Congrats Kelly!! Maybe she's older than 11 weeks if shes that big? Not like the guy sounds terribly reliable in his information.
Either way, shes adorable, good for you! |

| She's a cutie! I wonder if that guy's mom was aware that he was rehoming her pup. (the lack of documentation makes me wonder...) |

| I've wondered the same thing ... Do you think maybe the vet could tell when we take her for shots? Maybe hard to tell, because of baby teeth. Her first snow |

| maybe based on what baby teeth she has and when some start falling out will give you an idea on age, i think thats a better shot then trying to tell with adult dogs. or bug the guy to try and find the paper work or at least the name of where she came from? god she is cute! _________________ |

| Pfft. It's easy to tell a dogs age.
Cut the poo in half and count how many rings it has.

| OMG She is soooo cute! Look at her curled up in the crate with her little bed, AWWW! So spoiled already. I would do a titer test (I think that's what it is called) to see if she is vaccinated or not. Over vaccinating a dog can be fatal! Be careful. Anyways, enjoy your new little bundle of fur! She's gorgeous, congrats! |
