| Hello, My name is Zach, I am the proud owner of an 8week old girl named Arya ( I am a game of thrones dork). I have been following many of the threads on here, and just wanted to say thank you for all the great and helpful information. So far, so good I must be blessed. Crate training, potty training has been a breez. The only issue so far has been the mouthing/biting, which is to be expected with a puppy. But again thank you for all the tips and information. here she is |

| Welcome from a fellow Game of Thrones dork! There are several of us running around here Arya is adorable, and I can't wait to see more pictures of her! _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | Hello, thanks everyone. She is a doll, minus the mouthing. Just have to be adamant about saying no bite, and leave the room so she knows that this is unnacceptable behaviour. Its just hard not to play rough with her sometimes. Quick question, I am taking her to the vet tonight for the Parvo/distemper shot. She is 9 weeks now. When should I start taking her places for socialization. I live in the Seattle area. So there is many opportunities to take her places that have other dogs. Thanks Again Zach |

| Its best not to take her til she's had all her shots (that's what we're waiting on right now, then its to the dog park!!)
Welcome to the forum! We are in WA as well, about two hours north of you. Looks like we'll have to do a forum meet-up sometime! |

| It is a lovely area, just wish it would snow lol. Have you ever been up to Wallace Falls near Monroe? Beautiful place to take the pups when they're older I think! |

| Wallace falls is a great hike! Another good one with no scrambling, is Mt. Dickerman about 20miles from Granite Falls on the MT. Loop Highway. I am pretty excited to start hiking with the puppy. |
