This was only a 4 mile sprint race. We did it more for fun than for anything else, but they did us proud! Hoping for a better training routine and maybe even a bit more snow to train on next season

Is it hard to pass teams in these races? I noticed in the video that the trails aren't very wide and don't seem to have much passing room. Frustrating?
I really hope you guys have a better winter next year!

Two sections of this trail were non-passing. It opened up quite a bit on the main trail and passing was easier.

Yes we are in the full swing of spring....our running days are numbered for sure as we are looking at highs in the mid to high 50s next week, hopefully it will cool back down. Trying to make it to the Spring Fling at the end of April....we'll see

It was a beautiful morning for a run it's getting warmer faster and that has been noticed in the team's performance. But they're still looking great! Our last event is scheduled for the end of the month, providing the weather holds out!

Our final race of the season out at the NWSDA Spring Fling at Camp K was a huge blast! We ran the 6-dog Sprint earning a 5th place of 7 entries and only purebred entry for the class-

They are looking so good, Lani!
Question though, do you tell them to go around all the puddles or do they do that on their own?

They do that entirely on their own. Toward the end of the run they were plowing through them to cool off. It was unconventionally warm, much warmer than what we have been training in and running harder....so the puddles were a blessing on the way back in.

Love catching your updates, I want a team like that, even if it's just borrowing them! That does look like a muddy mess to clean up. When do you think you will have snow?

Being an El'Nino year we aren't really expecting much snow in this area, I'd really hope that this doesn't turn out to be the case...but we'll just have to wait and see.

I love how happy Siberians look when pulling a sled. I know some Alaskan huskies that always look so serious and dedicated and Siberians are just like lol I get to pull a sled/cart best day ever.
