| Is anyone up for a little hike? Need to stretch the people legs too sometimes! If you guys are coming off a long work week though, I don't mind just going to a park- Edmonds? Take advantage of summer before it's gone |

| I could do a short hike 3-4 miles, maybe 5 tops. My back is not doing well from the long week and all the standing around with customers in the factory and on the airplanes. |

| We're all so indecisive.. Are there any hikes anyone's been meaning to do? Should we head up to Roxy's neck of the woods for once? |

- She is a member, although not very active :)She's great though, super nice. Check out Husky Huddle Malamute Mingle Washington on Facebook too, it's another meetup group- I make sure not to schedule on the 2nd Saturday, the day Zyanya's meetup is always on. And then on this thread we just hang out whenever someone proposes something and people are free!
Awesome! I went ahead and friended you too. Loki and I either go for a 10 mile bike ride or go to the dog park. I definitely love hiking too, anywhere between 5-10 miles is perfect depending on the terrain. I'd be down with going anywhere, obviously I don't have a preference. |

| Sara, yes its an off-leash dog beach here on Whidbey Island called Double Bluff or "Useless" Bay. We didn't realize before we went that its not like a dog park with a fence, but the pups did a good job of staying together. I wouldn't trust Karli off-leash without the others there, but together it worked out perfectly.
I will post up my pictures this afternoon, I was gonna do it at work this morning and left my camera cord at home lol.
O and...SAVE THE DATE!!! August 25th we will be hiking and celebrating Karli's one year birthday!! Zach knows where we're going, I heard mountain lake and just about died lol. There will be yummies and party hats lol. Can't believe she's almost a year old... |

| Love these pictures and these pups! It's insane how similar Korra and Karli look!
So jealous of the beaches up there and the fact that you all have so many huskies to meet up with! Glad everyone had fun! |

| Karli's birthday hike sounds awesome. I'm marking the date. Hopefully we can make. We have had big life stuff almost every weekend so far this summer, and by then it should be more open on our schedule. Link hasn't played with a Husky in a long time |

| Would you all be free to try to do a camping trip that weekend or Sunday-Monday (Aug 25-26) for Karli's birthday? Since we're all trying to save the date already and we're running out of summer quickly! If not, I'll request just the 25th |

| Double Bluff is one of my favorite dog parks. So regretting getting tied up in a "Honey Do" list and forgetting it was Sunday. Some great pictures Rhia and looks like all had their fill of fun and exercise! |

| So for Karli's bday , the hike is Lake Serene/Bridal Veil Falls. very dog friendly hike, I think its about 7.5miles round trip, with a bit of elevation gain. Definitely a good hike. |

I'm working on pics from today's right now I'm crossing my fingers that my planned job comes through, and I have made a lot of backup applications elsewhere on top of it. My job search in SoCal hasn't been great, so I'm really hopeful that there's something up in WA for me. My aim is to be in Washington by the end of the year. That dog beach looks SO fun!! I'm really scared to take Loki to an offleash dog beach. His recall is iffy even at the dog park. I guess if he was packing with other huskies maybe he wouldn't bolt away. Eek. |

| That's the only time I trust Karli off lead like that...if she was by herself, it wouldn't happen lol. Zach, can we camp up there? I actually have Sunday off and Monday is a maintenance day, so its one of those come in if I feel like it type deals. That hike sounds awesome!! And now for the pictures I took. I took like 147, cut it down to 55 that I really liked and now these are the best of the best lol. A good running shot of the girls (Arya looks hilarious here) The boss Barron Running in the water Barron chasing Karli Arya eating a crab He's stalking her Chasing Karli and Korra stalking each other This is the best rock shot we got And this was a wood house The new friend they made, named Macy Running up the side of the hill Treats |
