Forum Rules | 1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. | I just got home and decided to use the busy buddy treat/kibble ball (that Ava got from our secret santa ) for the pups' food. Fill it up, put it down in the floor, and the niftiest thing happened! Snickers, of course, really really really wants the food, while Ava's not too interested or hungry. In his old age, Snickers is slowly losing his limited amount of brain cells and he absolutely cannot figure out how to get food out of the ball. He gave up and was just laying next to the ball, looking at it, when Ava came over and laid down across from him. She figured out how to get the food out in about two seconds...Snickers still couldn't figure it out, so Ava took a paw and rolled the ball to one side, leaving a trail of kibble in front of Snick. He gobbled it down, then Ava rolled the ball the other way, leaving more kibble for him to eat. This went on for a few minutes where she just rolled the ball back and forth in front of him so he could eat, while I'm watching like A little while later, Snickers had went back to the ball and sat there, just staring at it and waiting for food to magically appear. Ava gets up, walks over to him, bats the ball for him, and then walks off and lays back down. Now, Snickers has finally gotten a clue and he just about has the ball figured out. Ava's watching him and I'm just waiting for her to roll her eyes at his slowness or something |

| Sounds like Cloud and Yuki. Except while Cloud can't figure it out, Yuki just eats it all. |

| That is awesome! Anybody have cat and dog teamwork stories? I know Halla (the cat) and Thane(dog) have a system where Halla pushes the item Thane wants off the counter for him to eat or chew. Dog gets food or chew toy and cat gets to piss me off by throwing things off the counter lol. |
