| Hello everyone I have been reading the post on this forum for few weeks and I love all the information and support I have seen so I figured it was time to join the conversation. About my dog currently I have Sadie she is a beautiful pit bull mix with amazing blue eyes and the biggest heart. Her favorite things are puppies and visiting friends. Last summer she helped four of my friends teach there puppies how to play with the grown up and how to get treats from the humans. We are currently involved with a local dog training club and have taken obedience and agility classes and have loved every second of it. This year we will be helping run the canine good citizen this summer. I volunteer with a Siberian Husky Rescue called Birdsong Siberian Husky Rescue and I have been helping them handle there dog sled team this winter. I decided to join this forum because I am preparing to get my own Husky puppy in August and I want to do everything I can to prepare for him/her. I am going to try to post some pictures of my dog the dogs I work with and my husky's parents but I am not sure if I will do it correctly so any tips would be appreciate it. I am excited to learn more and meet dog people. -Elise |

| Sadie is a beautiful pittie . I've always wanted some sort of bully breed, they are so beautiful. A little off topic (actually LOTS of off topic) but have you seen Beyond the Myth? Very good documentary and it's on Netflix at the moment if you haven't checked it out. It's so sad, but so eye opening. Congrats on being a SUPER responsible pittie owner! You are part of the few and far between. She is gorgeous and (this might sound a little weird, so sorry in advanced) I am SO proud of you and her for the accomplishments you have together! Husky puppies are puppies like NO other, so learn as much as you can lol!! They are crazy little furballs. I use tinypic.com after a fellow user suggested it to me. I tried forever to try and get pictures to load, and so far tiny pic is the easiest and fasted way to upload. Can't wait to see more pictures! |

Can't wait to see more pictures! Thanks so we always get a ton of complements at the dog park about her eyes they tend to surprise people. I watched that documentary and it is so sad that they can steal your dog from your home and kill it. I can't believe those laws are still in effect in some places. I had already known Denver had those laws but I didn't know so many other places did I will have do research before moving anywhere. Thank you! I kind of feel like because I have a dog that people think worse of because of her breed she has to be better behaved than most dogs to change anyone's mind. But she is the fist pittie in our dog club and she has changed minds already being her goofball self. |

They are so much better at teaching bite inhibition then we are. I don't know if I could handle a puppy without her. |

| I wanted to share with you guys the first husky(mix) I ever met. She is now 14 years old and has medical issues but when I met her she was a wild crazy dog that at one point ended up on a roof chasing a cat. She is my good friends dog and she started my love for the breed. Also a picture of Sadie babysitting last summer. |

| Malfoy and I send our hellos! He is my first ever puppy and first husky and I adore him. For warning when you bring your puppy home (if you get a puppy) s/he will act all sweet and calm but give it a week or so, it's totally a trap! |
