2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! Our huskies adventure on the game farm...

This holiday we went to house sit at my brothers game farm, and we took our to huskies with.

There is a fence around the house but the fence ends in the dam. So we thought its ok because our escape arts Lindor really doesn’t swim, and Zimba loves swimming but thus far he always stayed by our side.

The first day of being there Zimba got out! Guess how?
He swam around the fence and went gallivanting. Eventually when he got back he past out sleeping the whole afternoon. By the time we wanted to go for a walk we realised something’s wrong. He hurt his paws from the ruff terrain, it was so bad he didn’t want to walk or sit.
So we took an hour drive to the nearest town to get a vet.

It didn’t take long for Zimbas paws to heel, in 4th day he was running around again.

By the time Zimba was running around Lindor decided she wants to go and explore as well!!!
She got out, came back, went directly for Zimba as to say “come on”, and they were off. Both went through the dam in to the bush.
Considering I know the farm the best, I got the vote to go in to the bush after them. My husband Tobie went to the workers houses to see if they’re there. As he was walking up the road they came running down the dirt road, Zimba first and Lindor behind him with a goose in her mouth. Tobie yeld drop it, she did, as she dropped it Zimba turned around went back and picked the goose up.
Tobie got the goose and very gently took it back to the other geese.

The next day, we went for a walk with our 2 huskies on leases. Halfway through the walk I stopped to adjust Zimbas collar. For the first time ever he backed out of his collar and instantly sprinted to the farm workers houses and caught a chicken.
We gave some money to the worker hows chicken it was and went home the next day.

In the end our 2 huskies enjoyed the farm more that what we did.
