I know mine is still young(Almost 9 months) But I have heard they do not calm down until 2 1/2 years. The reason I ask is I am currently 15 weeks pregnant and although he has calmed down a lot he still has "Scary issues" like the jumping(Which also calmed down). I am not getting rid of him or anything just would like to know when the crazies stop lol.

Lol, I heard it takes a while but it differs from dog to dog. Lycus is 1 year and I feel as if he's crazier than ever haha. I think the best thing for you to do is do A LOT of consistent training so he knows when to be calm for when the baby arrives. Hopefully someone who is already out of the puppy phase can let you have a better estimate.

I have one that's going on 9 years old and still has his puppy moments! Generally in my kennel between 3-4years old tends to be the land mark 'calm' down.

Maya's 4 but she's been calm inside the house her whole life, she only gets crazy if she's outside or there's dogs inside.

I think it depends on the lines. Cato is pretty crazy - get him to the dog park or something. He needs to get his ya-yas out.

I honestly don't know his lines, he is not Crazy Crazy and what I heard from other owners he is pretty mellow for a husky BUT he has his moments, he knows not to jump on me but for some reason when he has to go potty he will(which was never a good thing but now really is not). He also had SEVERE separation anxiety from my dad where he turns into a tornado and try's to destroy whatever he can.

Usually if Balon (a bit over 10 months) acts crazy in the house he needs to go outside and play!

Good luck! I don't think the Husky "crazies" ever go away LOL. It mainly depends on the dog. Nikko is 13 months and pretty typical crazy husky, and Yukon is like 7 months and very laid back and kind of lazy. I heard that most dogs calm down a bit at 2 years but I dont know.

Lola is just over a year and she still has crazy moments. All in all though she is really good in the house. Our last dog still had the occasional zoomie in his super senior years.

This is definitely not a strictly breed thing and adios between the dog and the owner, and the amount of training and exercise invested as well IMO. Rogue never had a puppy phase and is almost two. Koda had a lot of energy until about 18 months and mellowed out a lot after that, but he didn't have bad manners, just needed more time walking, running, and at the park, or he would talk our ears off until we did it. I associated it calming down more to me increasing those things and at 15 months we moved on our own, away from Jarod's parents, so the training was consistent where as Jarod's mom never followed it and pretty much encouraged bad behavior.
