| I'd be very careful if you do, he still might be at risk for Parvo. We walked Ghost some around the neighborhood, but it's a bit of a gamble. If you do walk him, a good rule of thumb for length is 5 minutes per month of age, so at 12 weeks you can do a 15 minute walk. He's a cutie, btw! | I walked Lucian before he was done with his shots. Kept to the 5 minute rule, and just kept him away from other dogs. I let him play with my aunts dog, cause I know she is up to date on all her shots. |

| Yeah, I walked Kody too. Not for a long and kept him away from other dogs too. I don't remember if I did with Mya or not. |

| Just be careful...a lot of dogs aren't up to date on their annual shots.
I think the +5 minute per month rule is added to each walk? Because I would think a 6 month old husky would go crazy with just having a 30 minute walk per day. So you can still follow the 5 minute per month rule, but you could have more than 1 walk a day. |

| I walk Karli...we're waiting on her last set of shots (I'm pretty sure she got an extra one because the breeder didn't give me a physical shot record, just told me what shots she got) so we stick to the roads that no one else ever walks on and keep away from dogs we don't know. Right its just 15min in the morning and if I don't work at night I take her for another 15min walk. She really enjoys it that's for sure! |

| I started leash training the week I brought him home. Had it attached to his collar and he would drag it around. Took him outside on leash to potty, and he was always on leash and slept next to me during my college classes (vet tech, I could bring him with me). I'd carry him through the parking lot though. Small walks around the block every day after his 3rd set of shots. You can also start giving a vitamin supplement to boost his immune system as well, and that may help. |

| I started walking both my pups as soon as I got them. Started them out with short walks and kept them away from dogs and made sure they did not pick up anything until they had their shots. |

| I, personally, wouldn't recommend taking any puppy on a walk, however short, until they have had at least 3 distemper/parvo combo shots. Anytime before that, you will be gambling with your pups health. But that's just my opinion. Working in a vet hospital over the past 5 years, I've seen quite a lot, and it's the pups that are out in the open where other dogs are (no matter how few, or how many you think that there have been) that come down with Parvovirus. |
