| We give Lola a frozen stuffed Kong to keep her busy. She has to work on getting the "treats" out of it and this can take a while. |

| Thanks Sarah, I got her a kong but she didnt seem overly interested and I think it may have given her the runs as shes only a puppy (maybe peanut butter etc is too rich) |

| What I do is soak some of her kibble in water for a little while until it is a little soft and it expands. Then I put that in the Kong. Next a teaspoon of plain yogurt and a teaspoon of pumpkin. I try to get the pumpkin to cap the hole of the Kong. Then I freeze it. Peanut butter gives Lo the runs too. Especially the Kong peanut butter. I deduct the Kong kibble from her regular diet amount so she is not over-fed.

| thanks Sarah,
I will give that one a try! At the moment she has a ball with holes in that she pushes around and little treats fall out... but again... I can only put diced carrots in because treats send her tummy funny. I also always have the radio or TV on in the kitchen, just for company. But wondered what everyone else does as I do not have her crated when shes in alone (there is nothing she can get to) so thought I may have even more options to keep her busy!
now to find the kong..... |
