No, house time around here is a treat- like after baths, class days, vet trips, etc. That keeps the 'event' prior a positive one.

Thank you- Yes this is my AKC pointed male, he only needs 2 Majors to finish (fingers crossed this year!). He also runs co-lead on my sled team as well as weight pulls in which he has placed in ribbons all attempts this year He may have his WD title soon!

He does come into a beautiful free stack and is finally mature enough again to converge as he should. Believe me when I say he's gone through some ugly phases as he grew into his body! LOL he has become a true pleasure to watch in harness, so optimism is high as we prep for our next show!

How do you resist the urge to just pull at those tufts?  Ami gets really annoyed with me - every time I see a tuft, I can't resist just "pickin at him"  Sort of like when I was a teenager and had a run in a stocking, I would sit there and pull at them to make them run even more...or peeling a sunburn

I didn't have a lot of choice in the matter. I have been out on the road dog showing for the past 2 weeks and then in MT with the family for the 4th. I came home to this! Usually I'll let them tuft up some then brush that out, repeat as needed.
