| I posted an ad on craigslist for anyone selling meat of any kind and a guy replied saying he has plenty of deer meat from last year. Would this be ok for me to get? |

| It'll be fine even the freezer burn sections will be okay just not as appetizing. If your Husky doesn't eat the freezer burn just trim it off other wise they just might refuse it all together. |

| Definitely fine. I am still feeding meat from last year that is buried in the depths of my chest freezer. _________________ |

| As Len and Val already stated, you should have no issues with feeding 1yr old venison to Nikko. I am hoping to add a deer to the freezer during muzzleloading season. If Brewer is lucky he will get a taste |

I'm not sure how popular Craislist is in Toronto but post an ad for free or low cost venison, you just might be surprised. Post or renew the ad each month. There have been times when I won't get a response for months then out of the blue I get a "come and get it" email. |

| My step dad hunts so we have TONS of it! Almost everyone hunts here in the south so it wouldn't be as hard for me to get it.
I was wondering do you guys just feed the venison that has been processed into hamburger meat or steak or what? That may be a dumb question I am sure I just always wondered, especially if we decided to switch to raw. |

| You can - but I freeze mine for about 40 days if processed. Just a precaution. More processing = more chances for contamination. |
